Actually, I have to agree with Cerani, also. While Character Development is normally over battle actions, I can also agree that the split needs to be typically even. I mean, if we're not going to care about items or experience and only the roleplay, then what is the point of having the roleplay be a stat roleplay?

I assure you the Nebuvapor is usable by EVERYONE and can even be used in some non-character specific items. While you may say: 'Well we're only going to get enough for one or two people, so what is the point?' I have to say that if we have that mentality then we might not want to bother with it at all. I mean if we're not gonna at least have a positive attitude about it and try and get enough for a majority of the party then what's the point?

Trying to go for the items and stuff is fine by me. The only time I'd say not to is if it conflicts with the character being the character, as in the character shouldn't do something out of character for an item. Period.

@Butters: Because a role play without a story is shit. I'm not saying items and experience don't matter, they do help move the game along. But in the grand scheme of things, if the characters and the story aren't up to snuff, the role play is shit.

Back to that point.

Story > Characters > Battle stuff

That's all I'm saying. I'm not saying battles aren't important, they are.

Changing my post would conflict with my character's personality, so I'm not going to do it regardless of what happens in the battle as a result.

So I'm pretty much the only who thought it was odd that the character stated to avoid battle and is generally a passive character suddenly got pissed off for no apparent reason?

It's done regardless because I'm ending it. Players can do whatever they wish with their characters regardless of whether it's a regular role play or a statplay. It's just the way it is.

Two more levels and she would have been. I misspoke earlier when I said about Severe Poison. She's immune to that, along with Venom, and severe other statuses that don't really matter much.

By the way, Dimmer is, in fact, over-exaggerating about Sariska. She is not as scary as that, though she is pretty brutal, even to her family.

Just so you know, Sariska would have destroyed Aurielle. I don't care how experienced she is at killing, Sariska is a fucking badass. Her entire FAMILY has a line of expert martial artists and...well. It's just that. Aurielle would have been destroyed.

The only characters in my arsenal that could beat Sariska in hand-to-hand combat are probably Naomi and Lacie. With Naomi, it might actually end up as a draw.

Dimmer has inherited a part of the Eternal talents in martial arts. But he was destroyed by Sariska way too many times to actually get better at it. XD
