The world of Levall. Such an extraordinary world by any means, seeing as how the usage of mana almost remains unobserved. As a result, magic is not wielded by the denizens of this planet. Levall exists in the same universe as Alidaire, and thus runs on mana in the exact same way, however, science tends to be the major contributing factor to advancement on Levall whereas everything is based on mana in Alidaire. Think of Levall in a similar manner of modern day Earth: normal. But what are those hallucinations, mirages, and illusions that lie in wait at the periphery of your vision? Things on Levall are not as ordinary as they might seem at first. This world coexists with an exact copy of itself, but in a different dimension.

Crazed Levall. This realm exists parallel to the regular Levall, but possesses a strange craziness about it. Overcome with psychedelia, those who visit this realm tend to not want to return to their homes, for the entertainment is on such a high level; who would want to leave a place with so much insane fun? The term "normal" does not exist in this realm, for so many wonderous and fantastic creatures and objects inhabit this realm. They are things that would blow the minds of normal Levalians.

This brings us to our problem, however. A new ruler has been established in this realm, and it is he who has decided that being a "parallel" dimension is insulting to him and his subjects. Thus, he has taken it upon himself to find a way to merge the two realms which would result in utter and uncontrolled chaos. It falls upon the heroine of our story, Marya Liddell, to stop this man and put an end to his plans along with finding her way back home.

Marya lives in the small town of Leviathan, named after the legendary water serpent, in the country of Arvenia. Here, Marya goes to school, does chores, hangs out with friends, and the such just as any normal girl would do. Unfortunately, her world will not remain sane forever, and the bonds holding everything together are about to fall into oblivion. Suddenly thrown into the world of Crazed Levall, her and her friends must rise and figure out what is occurring in this realm in order to put a stop to it once and for all. But in Crazed Levall, nothing is as it seems, and what they are doing will be constantly put into question. What is right and what is wrong? Do they possess the knowledge to accurately determine that bringing the two realms together would create chaos? Do they not long for harmony? If it has never been done before, how can they be so sure?

It is up to Marya and her friends to find out.

Okay, well, this was intended to be a one-on-one with just me and Cerani, but I've decided to let one more person in. Only join if you have the time to post and WILL USE that time to post. Otherwise, you're holding everything back. For people tired of Alidaire, I think Crazed Levall will be much funner, but the creatures dwelling there are just as dangerous. Anyway, a trio sounds better than a duo, so send me a profile if you want. I expect to start this thing tonight, so don't screw around. Get me the profile~!! XD If you make a profile in the next five minutes, you win a BRAND NEW CAR!!

If you're ready then, we're waiting....Hee hee hee....

Normality, Shattered

The sun peered in through the window, making everything warm through its gentle caress. The golden rays slowly fell upon Marya's closed eyes which instantly opened, her pupils dilated with excitement. "Yay! It's the weekend! Finally!!" she cheered in delight as she hopped out of bed and got dressed in a hurry. She was about to dash out of her room when her mother appeared in the doorway.

"And where you think you're going, young lady?" she spoke sternly, yet kindly. "You've got chores to do." She watched as Marya's exuberant smile dissipated into a gloomy frown. The mother's heart softened. "You could always call your friends and ask them to help you out. The work would get done faster that way." With that, she turned and left Marya to her own devices.

The girl immediately made a grab for the cell phone on her computer desk and dialed a number with great speed. The phone began ringing. "Come on, come on. Pick up, Authur," she mumbled to herself.

Brrrriiinnngg! . . . Brrrriiinnngg! . . . Brrrriiinnngg!

Authur woke groggily to a ringing sound. He opened his bleary eyes. "Wha? . . . oh!" He jumped, nearly smacking his head on the low ceiling in the loft-room-thing his parents had stuck him in. Authur stumbled off of his myriad sheets and grabbed the phone.

"'Lo?" He yawned, and looked about his messy room. It was covered with his clothes and scrapped paper from his sketchbook, along with a few other assorted trinkets. They glowed in his darkened room.

Marya sighed with relief when her friend answered the phone. "Hey, Authur!" she exclaimed enthusiastically. "You know how we were supposed to hang out today with Vendetta?? Well, my mom said I have to do chores first and I was wondering if you'd like to come over to help me out." She awaited his response with rising anticipation.

Authur groaned as Marya spoke. It was too early to sound so excited. "Yeah, I'll come over. What d'we gotta do? Not the toilets again . . . " He shuddered, an unnamed memory assaulting him.

"Not the toilets. I stop at cleaning bathrooms. At least yours anyway." Authur smiled as he teased his friend. The bathrooms at her house weren't bad at all, but there was this one time . . .

Marya blushed, a bit embarassed. "Authur! No way! There's no cleaning toilets this time," she said quickly. "You remember that windstorm from last week? Well, it knocked a bunch of crap out of the trees and all of that crap is now in the backyard. Mom wants me to clean it up. Mind helping out?" she asked again, knowing the answer already. Authur was a nice guy, and since he knew he didn't have to clean toilets, that was a nice incentive.

As the door's lock clicked, Vendetta removed the key from it and opened the school doors, leading into an empty, white hall lined with lockers. She walked forward, the echo of her footsteps becoming louder as she neared the stairway. The petite, white haired girl then began her trek up the stairwell as quietly as possible, even though the school had not a single soul in it that day.

Swinging the door leading to the roof wide open, Vendetta, with melancholy in her step, walked out onto the highest point of the school. She then walked over to a bench positioned next to the ledge of the roof, which was lined with iron fencing that was used to prevent students from falling.

She then shuffled through her skirt's leftmost pocket and extracted a deep purple cell phone; she then placed the communication device onto the other side of the bench, awaiting a call from Marya, who she had previously planned to go out with today.

The school roof was Vendetta's favorite hangout; nobody knew how she got into the school, or where she got her key from, either. She hasn't even revealed her place of living to anybody, not even Marya. The white haired girl, black bow laced throughout the strands, then examined her phone, awaiting a call from her classmate.

Authur nodded, forgetting for a moment that Marya couldn't see him. "Yeah, I'll help out. Give me about thirty minutes and I'll get there. See ya."

He put the phone back on the receiver, then started to rummage through his room for the clean pile of clothes. Finding most of it, he grabbed a pair of black, baggy pants and a neon green undershirt. Authur threw off his bed clothes and changed into these, then shuffled into the bathroom that was connected to his room. He stopped in front of the mirror to stare at his thin face. His mom was always saying he was too damn skinny to be healthy, but he knew he was fine. He wouldn't be able to dance for six hours straight if he wasn't. But maybe that had to do with . . . no, that wasn't a problem for him. He could take a couple hits of that stuff and be fine.

Still, his eyes were a little bloodshot. He'd gotten home only three hours before. "You're fine, right?" Authur nodded to himself, then brushed his teeth and hair, took a leak, and made sure his hair was alright. He left his bathroom, grabbed his favorite jacket and his keys, and hopped down the steps to his parents' house. He opened the door quietly and peeked out to see if anyone was awake. The coast was clear, so he scurried out of the house, making sure to lock the door behind him.

Outside in the driveway was his motorcycle. It wasn't a Harley or anything like that, and it was pretty beat up, but it was the cheapest transportation he could afford. Authur straddled it, stuck the key in the ignition and the helmet on his head. "Wha?" The helmet wouldn't go down all the way.

"Oh, yeah." His favorite goggles were still on his head. He pulled them off then stuck the helmet on, and then looped the goggles over the helmet. They'd be just fine there. Authur started the motorcycle, and revved it a little to get the gas flowing. After he backed out of the driveway, he was off to see his friend.

Marya sighed and scratched her head. Authur was such a questionable fellow, but she was glad that he was willing to be friends with a freshman like her. "Time for the next call," she said aloud whimsically and dialed Vendetta's number as quickly as possible. She could feel the stuff in the backyard just waiting to be picked up and it freaked her out a little.

A monotonous jingle suddenly began to emit from Vendetta's cell, and, as a response to the noise, she quickly reached for the phone, opened it, and pulled it up to her right ear.

"Hello?" She responded, without a hint of question as to who it was. As she waited for a reply, she fixed her gaze onto the beautiful of the city she lived in and sighed.

Well, it seems like my mom has other plans because I've got to clean up the backyard before I go anywhere and I was wondering if you'd like to help me out. "I'll be over in seven minutes." She avoided answering Marya's question and hung up her phone without waiting for a response. The petite girl the calmly dropped her cellphone into her pocket and traversed back to the lower floor of the school. Still empty . . . She sighed.

Authur's crappy motorcycle growled up the road to Marya's house, right up until he stopped in front of her house. He didn't want to stop on their nice driveway, his motorcycle sometimes leaked oil. Switching off the motor, Authur stuffed the keys in his pocket and snapped his goggles off the helmet, which he hung on the handlebar. Pulling them on his head, he set the kickstand. He hopped off of it and tramped up the Liddell's walkway. He tried to make his hair as presentable as possible for the situation and rang the doorbell.

Authur looked back at his bike. It wasn't like anyone would steal it, especially in this kind of neighborhood, but you never knew.

Marya had a questioning look on her face, but was pleased nonetheless. "O-okay," she said to nobody and placed her cell phone on the desk before digging in her closet for something to wear. After putting on her signature pink shirt that was a bit longer than usual, but it really couldn't be called a dress, and her solid black tights, she dashed to the front door, just as the bell rang. She opened the door, and found Authur standing there looking rather....Authur-like. She worried about him from time to time, but she knew he was the type to party, so she felt a bit more at ease about his condition. "Hello, Authur! Glad you're here! Come on in," she said and gestured for him to enter her house.

Vendetta slowly walked out to the streets, looked down both ways of the street, and turned to the right and positioned herself onto the sidewalk. She then continued to pace down the walk at a fixed speed, completely unfazed by the beautiful city nature and life that was bustling around her.

Authur grinned brightly when Marya opened the door. He walked in the door, saying, "Hey, what's up? And where's this thing that needs doing?"

He propped himself against a wall and waited, running a hand through his hair again, trying to make sure it was fine.

Marya smiled. "It's in the backyard. We have to wait for Vendetta to get here though. I'm hoping it won't take us too long; that windstorm was pretty bad." Her smile became nervous as she thought of the horrid winds that had rocked the very foundations of her house. Marya shivered.

"Windstorm?" Authur thought back to the previous night. Needless to say he didn't hear much over the pounding beats, so it was a small wonder he didn't notice any storm. What he did remember was more a quick montage of flashing lights, gyrating bodies, and really loud music, all mixed with a few weird sensations of floating . . .

Vendetta continued to walk down the side of the street; avoiding the chirping of ecstatic birds, she fixed her eyes on what seemed to be Marya's house. Arthur was just inside of the house, and Marya was in sight too.

She walked up into her yard and, without words, waved at the girl, hoping that she would notice her presence.

Marya blinked twice. "What windstorm? Are you kidding me?!" she exploded. "The whole city was practically shaking! Those winds were crazy, Authur. How could you have not felt them?? They had wind alerts and everything. For a while, they were talking about evacuation!" She stopped a minute to catch her breath. It had been a scary night for the young girl. That's when she saw Vendetta outside. "Never mind the stupid wind; we've got chores to do! Follow me!" She rushed outside, neglecting to put her shoes on. "Close the door behind you, Authur!" she called back to her friend.

Authur pondered his friends as he traipsed behind the house to Marya's backyard. They were an odd bunch definitely, and he wondered how in the world did they ever get along. They were all very different from each other, right down what kinds of clothes they wore. He shrugged again and began to pick up the littered branches.

"Hey, where d'you want these?"

Marya shook her head. "It was really scary. Luckily for us, Daddy already cleaned off the roof. This is all that we have to take care of for now." The backyard was covered in leaves, but under some sections, some things were obviously lying there. They must have been the branches that had fallen from the trees. Or was there something more? She looked over at Authur who was already getting a good start. "Just put them in a pile, okay? Daddy will take care of it later."
