Dusk didn't make a move, but flexed her claws. She didn't like the looks of these people, they didn't seem right. She wouldn't attack however, she would wait for their movements.

Twilight said nothing but rather began to paint himself, not wanting to be around when fight broke out. As he finished, he blended in with the night, invisible to all.

Sekai and Hikari grimaced at each other. The tone of the two girls in front of them wasn't very inviting at all. They had a bad feeling that something was about to go down.

"Guys, I'm getting a bad vibe from these two." Hikari whispered to the group, "Stay on your guard."

She raised her hand and tapped the jewel on her chest, quickly sweeping out her hand and holding it in front of her. A few sparks of electricity later brought a bow made of pure lightning into her hand. The girl pulled back the electrified string, slowly forming an arrow there, then launched it at Autumn.

"you'll pay for that." She growled, then lunged forward and began pummelling the woman with her fists, each one holding a different exertion of power.

"You dare underestimate my power? I'll show you what happens when you mess with us." Sophia pulled the lightning-covered bow up and pointed it at Autumn. She then jumped back and fired a multitude of arrows at Autumn, each one piercing her skin, and the last arrow buried itself deep into Autumn's chest, dangerously close to her heart.

Sekai clenched her fists and glared at the girl behind the floating one in front of Sekai. Electricity began to spark from her fists, and eventually her whole body was being surrounded by an electrical current, her power increasing significantly. "You're mine." Sekai growled.

Hikari waved her staff in the air, still sleeping, and tapped herself on the head. She then suddenly awoke, smiling broadly in her success. So the move would work on her as well, that would come in handy.

"Okay Senna, time to wake up." Sophia said, her bow disintegrating into the air. A small blue light came from the sapphire on Sophia's chest and zoomed towards her ally, exploding on contact. When the mist from the explosion cleared, Senna was awake again.

Sekai glared at the woman in front of her, the one that had woken the other girl. She figured the others in the group could handle Senna now, so she would focus her power on Sophia. Sekai pulled back her fists and lunged at the girl, pummelling her mercilessly.

"Ow! What the hell-?!" Sophia snapped, her eyes darting over at the source of the light energy that had damaged both her and Senna greatly. Sophia was supporting a grotesque wound on her thigh. It did not look very attractive, and Sophia could hardly move because of the pain. "Ugh...Senna, you know what to do."

Sophia waits.

Senna blinked for one second, then nodded. Her eyes seemed to be far off, as if she wasn't paying any attention. The light from the Spell Wand had blinded her drastically, and all she could see what a white void. Senna didn't dare move anywhere, so she held up what she thought was her fan and summoned her power.

When Sophia and Senna had fallen, they simply glared at the group and fled almost immediately. Their mission had obviously failed, but something told the group that they would be back one day to battle them again. Now, however, the group could go into the city and check everything out.

The city was actually quite run-down and desolate. Nobody was on the streets, and everything seemed eerily quiet. The party just shrugged at each other and decided to walk around and investigate the town a bit more.

The more they walked about the land, the more they realized that maybe they weren't supposed to be there. It seemed to have taken ages before they saw someone else on the streets. It was a cloaked figure, most likely a woman from the way her clothes were bundled up around her. Sekai stopped the woman and asked her, "Excuse me, could you tell us what city this is?"

The woman looked up at Sekai, her eyes revealing themselves. She looked rather frightened, but she replied quickly, "This is the city of Gerudo. We were once a prosperous city, before they came." Even her voice was shaking with fear. The woman broke away from Sekai's grasp and quickly fled from sight before she had a chance to ask another question.

Hikari frowned, "Well, this doesn't seem good."

"I'm wondering who they are." Sekai agreed, "Maybe we should investigate? What do you guys think?" Sekai turned around to face the group. "Should we leave to find another city, or should we figure out what the problem is here?"

Dawn took over soon after the two had fallen and fled. She didn't care that they had threatened to attack again. As the group entered the city she frowned, upset with the feel and look of it all. It was so depressing, but with the feeling that someone had made it this way.

As the woman pulled away and ran, she came to a stop looking over the others. Her eyes drifted to the city before returning to the group. Her eyes were serious, and everyone could tell what she was thinking.

"We're not leaving..."

"Ugh..."

Twilight was even more depressed as they entered the city. Nothing was right! Everything was torn down, saddening, and it was worse than the girls had been. He clenched his fists, his paintbrush threatening to snap in half.

"Let's fix this."

Stay and Investigate!

Autumn took a look around the dreary town. It was lacking trees. Hell, it was lacking everything, pretty much. As she continued to walk along, her attention was drawn to the woman Sekai had found. The frightened woman's words troubled her. "We're already here, right? Might as well investigate," she said nonchalantly. Maybe she would get lucky and she would find a rare beast or something.

Flora stuck by Autumn's side, her eyes darting around the area. She had to remain wary; this town seemed like a perfect place for bandits and the like. There was no telling what sort of shady characters made their homes here, and the words of the woman they had found only made her more wary. "We can't leave things the way they are. This place has a problem, and it might have something to do with our quest," she said logically.

Sekai nodded, she understood. She herself had an urge to find out what's going on. Hikari apparently felt the same way, for it was she who spoke up next, "Where should we start?"

The moment Hikari had said that, however, a huge explosion came from one of the houses close to them. The house tumbled down to the ground as a huge man came running out of it towards the group. Sekai reacted almost immediately after the brute held up his huge axe, as if to attack them. She ran forward, just as the man swung down his arm. Sekai slid under the axe and grabbed hold of the man's arm, propelling herself up perfectly, landing a hard kick on the side of the man's face.

The barbarian stumbled backwards, but quickly planted his feet and held his position, ready to attack again.

Two others also came out from the destroyed house, wearing the same armor and weapon with them. The one who had attacked the group growled, "Get out of our town, insignificant ants! We crush you! No survivors!"

Sekai only grinned, "I have a suggestion, why don't you learn how to talk in complete sentences?" This only seemed to anger the barbarian more. A battle was inevitable.

Dawn put a hand to her lips, her star hiding behind her. She did not like the looks of this and doubted that they would be able to kill these men. They were too huge to fight physically it seemed. Sekai would be able to handle it hopefully. But she still had her doubts about whether or not they could contain them.

Sekai could only grin as she looked at the three barbarians in front of her. She knew that she could take at least one of them down on her own. Autumn would be able to handle one of the others, and Hikari could put the final one to sleep so that they could ambush him while he was alone. The plan was perfect.

Twilight ran forward, knowing it was worth the risk. He started to paint Flora, the aura slowly blending her into the surroundings. As he pulled away she disappeared into the surroundings completely.

Sekai took a step forward and stopped. She figured she shouldn't get much closer to her enemies just yet. Instead, she wanted to charge up and increase the power of her next move. Sekai clenched her fist tightly as electricity ran through her body, filling her up with a powerful sensation.

Hikari squeezed past Flora, smiling brightly at the girl as she moved around her. She then took her spot in front of Flora and pointed her staff at the barbarian across the way. "Watch over my body, okay?" Hikari asked to no one in particular, and soon enough, she was asleep, as well as the barbarian.

Dawn's star was now floating in mid air, around Autumn. The Angel put her hands together, the star transforming. The light around them faded, the only source left being an Aurora of the star. It wrapped around Autumn, absorbing into her skin.

Twilight uses Subject's Demise on Bill!

Twilight then went about painting, the aura filling the air. It looked like a random shape until he pulled away. A canon sat beside him, fully loaded and aimed at one of the two remaining barbarians. Twilight proceeded to shoot off a canon ball of paint which hit the man right in the chest, exploding in seconds.

Sekai grinned before lunging at the barbarian and assaulting him with her fists, each hit damaging the barbarian greatly, her attack boost powering up each one of her punches.

Hikari's serene face turned into a frown as she raised her staff into the air and sent out an enormous shockwave towards her opponents. Bill didn't seem to care, but Angelo, who was asleep, suddenly clasped his hands over his ears and screamed bloody murder from the shockwave's effect.

As Autumn took another attack, the Aurora of the star wrapped around her. The rainbow of colors absorbed into the beastmaster, energy flowing into her body. And when it faded, the star returned to Dawn's side, floating around her almost playfully.

Twilight took new positioning, sighing as his attack had been misaimed. What had seemed to be a hit acutally traveled just a bit to the left, disappearing. With a sigh he painted a soilder, who then shot a bullet of aura at the barbarian.
