Auza knew her seal on the other thief was beginning to wear off, and there was no way she could catch up to the thieves near Klein, so she started back to her previous spot and waited for her chance to seal the man up once again.

Klein cringed as he was attacked, but, with the boost of time mana, ran after Mika, slashing him twice before retreating to his original position. After seeing the thief fall, Klein turned his attention to another nearby thief who was apparently running away. "I hope you don't think you're gonna escape from us," he called out after him before rushing up to him and slashing him twice as well, only to toss his sword quickly to the other hand to deliver a swift blow.

"Hm, you may have escaped most harm while you were unable to do much, but that can be fixed rather quickly." Auza said as she took another step forward. She raised the beads on her right arm and began to cast her magic, causing those beads to glow ominously. Another seal appeared around the man, binding him in his tracks. Auza lowered her arm and yawned. "There's not much else for me to do, is there?" She asked, directed at no one in particular.

Unfortunately, the disabled thief, with his increased speed, was fleeing from Klein to avoid further damage until he could actually fight back. All the swordsman could do was follow and stay close to him. He would strike when he got the chance.

Auza watched as Rose continued to pierce the now helpless man in front of her. With a sigh, she placed her beads in their pouch and waited. There wasn't much else for Auza to do. Klein was too faraway for her to catch up to him, and his battle was almost completed anyway.

Rose sheathed her rapier and took a look around at the dead bodies. "Well that was certainly unexpected," she stated simply and looked out beyond the town exit. "Are you two all right?" she asked in concern.

Klein sheathed his own sword and started jumping for joy. "Do you even need to ask?!" he exclaimed, his grin larger than usual which seemed impossible. "We demolished those guys! We're sooo strong! I say bring 'em on!!" He started doing backflips which was Rose's signal to ignore him.

"What about you, Auza? Ready to go on?" she turned and asked the bind witch.

"Hm?" Auza looking back at Rose, "Oh, yes, I'm ready." She said, turning around and walking towards the others. She had meant to get the bag, but she decided to leave it alone. Someone else would pick it up eventually. They had a mission to complete now anyway, it would be best to continue with it. "Lead the way, Rose." Auza said kindly, waiting for the woman to start.

Rose nodded her head. "Good. The first thing we'll have to do is traverse the Sungai Tanah in order to reach the thieves' manor by the river, Tali Sungai. The Sungai Tanah is full of monsters, so we'll have to be wary. When we get to the manor, we'll have to go up to the top floor, to be sure, in order to confront their leader. I'm hoping to put in end to this thief faction afterwards so they won't bother the people of Titik Masuk anymore. With that, she took a deep breath and started walking. The party followed suit.

The walk appeared to be rather calm. Every once in a while, the party would pass by a smaller river, one with no name, for their were plenty of them. That's how the land had received its name: Sungai Tanah, or River Lands. However, the tranquility was broken when monsters made their first appearance.

"These are going to become troublesome." Auza muttered under her breath as she took her place next to Rose. She once again wrapped her beads around her right hand and clenched her fist tightly. "We'll just have to make do." Auza sighed.

Klein looked around astonished at the River Lands. It was the first area of Berbatu he was seeing after all. He took notice of the large boulders, the subtle streams of water, and....the monsters. Two imps with frying pans and aprons were in the distance waving their weapons around enthusiastically with mischievous grins. In addition to them, two fairly large crocodiles waited in the wings. He drew his sword quickly. "Uh, Rose? These guys aren't tough right? We can take them!" His unsure tone disappeared and became much more confident. It seemed as if his worry had vanished rather quickly.

Klein was about to rush forward, but that would be placing himself pretty close to the giant crocodile that appeared to be simply sunbathing. Though, he wouldn't take the chance. "We'll see what we can do, Auza!" he exclaimed, his eyes looking forward to the weird little demons with their cookery.

Before Rose could respond to Auza's comment, she noticed a crocodile getting closer, splashing through the water. "It seems as though we don't have to lure them," she said tactfully. "They're giving us the pleasure of getting closer themselves." She immediately dashed towards the giant crocodile and thrust into it with her rapier only to have streams of sand spiral upwards from beneath the surface of the water to slice it several times, the individual particles of sand as sharp as blades.

She thrust out her beaded hand at the creature, making them glow ominously. She sighed as the magic was cast, binding the creature to the ground. "And now for a tactical retreat." Auza muttered as she moved off to the side and back a little.

Rose's eyes widened slightly as she felt herself scooped up into a giant frying pan that belonged to a nearby munch imp. The thing bounced her up and down in the pan, each time she landed hard on the iron of the cookery. By the time it let her go, she was furious. "Rise forth from the sands of time; arid spirits that drain the earth of its saturation. Seek a new target from which to obtain your liveliness! Desert's Wrath!" Any loose sand in the area instantly surged up from the ground and swarmed around the little imp who was quite frightened now. When the mass of sand dispersed, the now dehydrated body of the imp was left standing, surprisingly still alive.

"This could be troublesome." Auza sighed and pointed her beads at the nearby crocodile. The beads began to glow as she cast her magic and a seal appeared over the reptile's head. The seal then planted itself on the beast's jaw, making it unable to attack any longer.

Auza didn't even seem to notice that there was still a cloud of frozen energy following her around, hurting her a bit. She simply began to move towards one of the other imps, taking up Klein's space in the process. She tapped his shoulder, it was time for him to move, she would handle grabbing the bag.

Klein felt a tap on his shoulder and looked back suddenly to see that it was only Auza. He realized what she wanted and nodded kindly to her before dashing back up to the imp that he had attacked previously.

As he approached the monster, Klein lashed out at it with his blade. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to do as much damage as he wished it had. "That's....kinda disappointed," he said uneasily before shaking his head and smiling again. "I'll just have to double up my efforts then!"

Auza smiled when she saw the bag the imp was holding drop to the ground after Rose thrust her rapier back out of it. It was incredibly nice to have such a reliable person fighting with them, although Auza still had a few doubts about the girl. Those would be smoothed out with time, that was for sure. Auza nodded once at Rose, then took a few steps closer to the bag, keeping the other imp and crocodile in her sights. She had no intentions of being attacked again.

Auza was in no hurry. To her, everything would work out fine. Klein could take care of himself, despite being badly burned. She sighed, "Do make sure that you keep yourself alive, Klein." Auza commented. She took a look at her beads and frowned at them. This was taking far too long, especially with only one creature left to kill.
