Almair laughed at the attempts the prisoner made to kill Almair. Shrugging off a great deal of the attack, Almair turned around, away from the prisoner. His head leaned forward and he started laughing. After about 2 seconds though, it ceased, and he swung his blade immediately around at the prisoner.

Almair uses D-ability on Prisoner!

Sonia took the holy Blow and fell to her feet. She hadn't been expecting that. She tried to get to her feet and found much diffculty, but soon was up on her feet.

"Ow... I didn't even hurt you..."

She moved away from the Totem.

Sonia moves to E1

But she was not done, she reached into her pocket and found a potion. She uncorked the bottle, put it up to her mouth, tipped it and forced down the liquid.

Sonia uses a Potion!

Valefor took the damage and screeched. The screech echoed through the chamber before the dragon flew into the air. It built up as much energy as it could before swooping down on the Totem.

Valefor uses Energy Beam on Seal!

Seeing it's attack finished, Valefor flew past it's Summoner.

Zero took a few steps forward and drew her dagger, already covered in poison. She slashed at the totem and the poison melted part of the odd object.

After attacking Seal, Czeslaw decided that it would be best to return to his original starting position next to Lily. He didn't wish to be caught up in this mess.

After returning to his original position, he decided that now would be the right time to increase his party's defenses.

Valincar watched as a myriad of flashing lights and blazing lasers were used to assault his allies. So that's what they use, the phantom noted before taking his action. From what he could tell, the soul blade was trapped in there with the crazy man, so he would help him out. The lasers that the totems were firing would easily disintergrate his doll, so he decided to keep it with him.

Valincar moves to I5.

Valincar had a crafty plan up his sleeve. This thing seemed fairly adept at using magic, but how strong was the man's spirit?

Lily realized that she could easily defeat the Totem, so she lifted her bow high, then fired the arrow at Seal.

Lily began to feel paranoid about the seal on the ground that had suddenly moved, so she walked as far away from it as she could.

Prisoner took a few raspy breaths before speaking. "Is that all you've got?" Prisoner's grin was full of splendor and his eyes were even wider than before, two orbs reflecting the true insanity in his soul. "I am afraid....this is....THE END FOR YOU!!" Prisoner's other arm broke free of the straightjacket. Once again, with great speed, Prisoner jammed a fist into Almair's stomach. However, instead of a strange laser, Prisoner slammed a fist into Almair's face. Then another into his ribs. And another in the thigh. And another right in the shoulderblade. With a malicious growl, Prisoner finished up with an uppercut right to Almair's chin making him airborne before the soul blade's body fell back to earth in a crumpled heap.

Prisoner uses Cascade on Almair! 6 hits! 15 Dmg per hit! (ATK)

Prisoner waits.

After firing a laser in retaliation to the fencer's attack, Bind decided that another laser would do her justice, though it would have to be a fairly weaker laser.

Lily turned her attention on the other totem pole this time. She lifted her bow into the air and carefully aimed a pointed arrow at the enemy. She sighed, knowing that after this she wouldn't be of much use for awhile, but she twisted the arrow and string together and fired the deadly arrow.

The soul blade laughed as he fell to his knees. He looked up at the prisoner and mumbled something inaudible. He fell down, his sword landing a few inches away from his hand.

The counterattack from the totem pole ended up nicking her in the side. It wasn't too bad, thankfully. A barrier wrapped around her, no doubt from Czeslaw. She was grateful for it for another beam was sent straight at her but the barrier took most of the damage, the force of the attack the only thing affecting her.

Needing to get closer, Rosetta moved forward. She was about to use Nighthawk when she paused. Somehow, it seemed like something of a waste. Not to mention Lily had already shot a piercing arrow at the pole. It seemed she was unneeded.

As his allies were shielded by his powers, Czeslaw once again moved to the right. He wished to join his allies in battle as soon as possible, yet nothing was going wrong, besides Almair's foolish attempt at calming the prisoner. Czeslaw then stood ready, prepared to help his allies fight off any obstacles that might stand in their way.

Valincar had to look away as he watched the crazy man pummel Almair's body. When he looked back, the poor soul blade was crumpled on the floor, clearly out of energy and unable to fight. "I guess it's my turn to enter the seal," the phantom said inaudibly and hovered forward.

Valincar moves to G5.

Holding up one hand, Valincar cast a spell. "Darkness writhing in corners steeped in despair, I command thee to surge forth and envelop my enemy!" Orbs of darkness mana burst out of the shadows and collided into the crazy man.

Sonia watched as the enemy nearby was destroyed. That would make this a lot easier to get to that chest. She moved closer to the chest, only looking to see the Prisoner hurt her allies. She grew angry at that and her staff glew with a fiery heat.

Shadow had was injured, blood drops falling from his wounded side. He needed to focus on the other, even in this state. Meanwhile, Almair had just been knocked out by the prisoner, Valincar stepped forward and readied to face against him next. Shadow knew he needed to hurry.

Prisoner watched as the glowing glyph on the stone floor disappeared as the second and final seal totem was destroyed. An unsettling grin beset his face as he looked around at all of the waiting warriors. "So....you have come to release me?" he asked suddenly. However, any feelings of peace were shouted as he roared at the ceiling. "I'm....FREEEEEEEEEE!!!" Prisoner's body began to shake violently and the straightjacket burst into shreds at the parts where it was the most constraining. He bent over and ripped the ball and chain off of his ankle that previously restricted his movement.

Now was the time to strike. Czeslaw could hit Prisoner with all he had to form one ultimate technique that could completely decimate the sadist Mental Patient.

Czeslaw uses D-Ability: Boreal Malediction on Prisoner! [10 x 2 x 2 = 40] Piercing Damage!

Now that he was in range, Czeslaw unleashed his ultimate technique as he had done before, yet this time its power was amplified by the effects of Intangible.

Seeing as everyone else was occupied with the Prisoner, Rosetta stepped forward, walking over to the Soul Blade's unconscious body.

Taking out a small crystal, the Fencer brought it up over Almair.

[Rosetta] uses Life Crystal on [Almair]! Revives with 20% of HP.

Valincar watched as his doll disintegrated into a pile of rubble similar to the totems, yet that pile of rubble disappeared in a cloud of mist. The phantom dropped his head in respect; he was glad he had summoned the poor thing because in the end, it saved someone's life. If the crazy man had attacked anyone else with that move, they would be dead. I guess luck was on their side.

The crazed man cringed and fell to the ground; the force of those attacks were just too much. Though, now, he was truly free--free from this horrid existence. "T-thank you.....kind warriors," he spoke. "For many a century...I have been trapped here. I was imprisoned....for my innovative thinking. They thought me to be crazy, but I only became so after being locked...down here...for so, so long. They thought me a monster....heh. But who truly is...the monster...in this situation?" He laughed calmly in relief. His body shined with a brilliant light. Though, he had one more thing to say before leaving for good. His head turned to Sonia. "Girl...with the creature...someone...left something...here for you. In the treasure chest...have....look.... ... ..." With that, there was a bright flash and Prisoner's body was gone. However, his voice rang out through the dark hidden room one last time: "Thank you."

Sonia investigates the opened treasure chest.

The Dark Knight thought it would be more wise to report the completed request than to recklessly proceed. After all, stocking on items and weaponry could even be beneficial although Gold-spending.

She had ended up using their last Life Crystal. And seeing as none of them knew a reviving skill, it seemed best to return to town to restock. It seemed like a good idea to give in the quest they had just finished as well.
