Albere wagged a finger at the party from his window. "No organization, please!" he exclaimed through the intercom and pressed a large red button on his control panel. Suddenly, the green light grew stronger and the party was confronted by horrid mutants that looked like the ones in the tanks from before. They groaned as if they were in agony.

Valincar took out his tome. "We shall clear these abominations from the face of Alidaire. Fear not; your misery is at an end!" Thus, the party found itself in the midst of battle.

Sonia huddled by Valincar, unsure of it all. The experiments' moans made a chill run down her spine. Her hand clenched around her staff tightly, her pale skin showing off a thin vein. Her eyes looked around, unsure of whether or not she had the will to fight.

"Valincar... h...how strong... d... do you think they are?"

Zero glared at the grotesque creatures and unsheathed her dagger. These things reminded Zero of Wrath and his little experiments. he always hated those things, and she would enjoy executing these creatures which so closely resemble those things.

As if they were going to listen to the flamboyant man. Rosetta could have snorted. She quickly took her place at the front with Shadow and Zero. The hole they were in gave them almost no room to move so they would have to keep these things away from the magic users. She wasn't worried about Valincar. It seemed only the slime in the back could harm the undead.

Flicking her hair over her shoulder, it was crusty due to the dried blood much to her chagrin, the Element Striker readied her blade.

Valincar rolled his eyes. As if they were going to listen to the scientist's request. He knew that him and his fellow guild members would do everything in order to put a stop to these horrid monsters. He hovered forward. "Let us relieve you of your suffering!" he called out and clapped his hands together, his eyes closed tight. Dark energy began forming in front of him rather quickly and when he opened his eyes, he waved his hand sending the cloud hurtling at one of the foes. Even still, some energy remained and he knew that it was making him stronger.

However, he was wondering how long that monster was just going to sit there and take his abuse.

Rosetta gritted her teeth as old wounds ripped open again from the attack. They just couldn't get a break, could they. Eyes roaming the field, they quickly landed on the single slime that had approached. If they took that one out, there was no way they could lose. She rushed in, knowing it was reckless but not really caring at the moment.

[Rosetta] moves to [F-4].

She narrowed her eyes, concentrating. There was a soft whirl before flames burst into existence around her rapier, unleashing a loud roar as it announced its presence. Not wasting any time, she struck the slime, attacks tearing straight through the slime.

Satisfied with the damage she had inflicted on the slime, Rosetta didn't even notice one of the experiments beside her. She stiffened and whirled around, just in time to be assaulted viciously by the thing. Unable to handle the attack, the Element Striker fell, rapier slipping from her grasp.

Unbelievably, a solitary tear slid down Valincar's cheek as he witnessed his allies falling, one by one. He hovered past their bodies, turning a blind eye to the massacre. He had to fight on. He raised a hand and fired an orb of vacant energy at the frozen creature expecting to gain more mana from it. The orb returned to his hand, filled with surging mana. "I won't let you guys down," he muttered aloud solemnly as he felt the newly recovered mana surge through him.

Sonia closed her eyes as the cold dispersed. She didn't even feel the creature strike her, her sleep carrying her off. She wasn't sure how it continued, just that she stood in shrine. And in that shrine, she was not the only person. A goddess like figure stood before her, and her allies lay dead beside her. She herself was weakened and beaten, the Goddess looking like she hadn't taken a single hit.

"World to Rise or Fall."

The majestic voice was like a knife through butter. Sonia found herself staring horrified at the Goddess as she merely pointed at Sonia. Suddenly Fiery pain, Icy sheen, and Lightning shock pulsed through her body. She fell, and everything turned black...

Zero ran after the experiment as her cover faded, she stopped in front of the experiment and closed her eyes.

"I'm afraid this will be my last strike...Valincar, kill these things..." Zero said as the pit became pitch black.

The sound of metal cutting flesh could be heard multiple times and when light returned, Claw was bleeding uncontrollably while Zero stood licking the blood off her dagger and waiting for the experiments to finish her.
