Albere grinned maniacally as a few of the attacks managed to pierce through his force field, damaging him slightly. "Now THAT'S what I like to see!" he exclaimed and raised his arms into the air, blood soaking through his clothing in a couple of spots. He suddenly glared at Rosetta and got dangerously close to her, his mechanical arm in front of him. Suddenly, several small circular saws emerged from it, continuously slicing the fencer.

Albere uses Soul Dissection on Rosetta! 4 hits! 21 Dmg per hit! (ATK)

Aronia was successful in her activation of the lasers, but she sensed that danger was imminent as one of the tanks surrounding her shattered. She grimaced and quickly changed her tune to something more playful and upbeat with a few harsh notes thrown in. She slammed her finger down on one key that played a note completely different from the main tune which caused lightning to surge out of the organ to strike the party.

Valincar cringed and fell to the floor as the electricity messed up his mana cycle and the lasers did there work. Unable to go on, he felt himself losing consciousness.

"It was fun," she said lightly before her eyes slowly slid shut. She stood standing for just a moment before she swayed to the side and fell onto her side with a soft thud. Blood trickled steadily out of her wounds, creating a pool of red liquid on the floor, surrounding her prone body.

She noticed her allies fall, her eyes settled on Valincar for what seemed like years. She couldn't speak at first, until her gaze became a glare. She stared over at the Organist and Scientists, her eyes turning red, their other colors fleeing.

"How dare you!"

She raised her staff, anger preparing her spells.

Lily groaned as the wave of electricity zapped her, then the lazers on the walls pierced through her body. Her mind began to spin as she stumbled in her steps. "Wha..." She mumbled, unable to organize her scattered thoughts and emotions. Lily's bow dropped out of her hand as she fell to her knees, then flat on her face, out cold.

Sighing, he turned his head to the ceiling and gazed at the machinery whirring around the metal plates that lined the ceiling.

Albere laughed maniacally as he watched his enemies fall one by one before him thanks to Aronia's horridly powerful attacks. "See what happens when you mess with the master?" he said and grinned. "Anyone can play with toys, but no one can play with the person who made them," he added as he pulled out some more vials of liquid and began to mix them until there was a small explosion resulting in the creation of what looked like another potion.

Aronia was distraught that she was out of mana so quickly, but she shrugged her shoulders and slammed down violently on the keys of her organ causing a cacophonous note to ring throughout the room damaging all enemies that could hear.

Sonia let the music ring in her ears. The Horrible notes being drowned out as she shut her eyes. She began to hear Clara play, her music drifting around calmly. She fell over, a tear streaming down her cheek once more, a smile spreading acorss her face. As she lost conciousness, her spirit drifted away, listening to the playing that was nonexistent.

As Albere finished making another potion, his face showing clear indifference to the battle, he looked up. "Oh. There's one still standing," he said dismissively before checking his coat for more vials. "Just let the lasers finish him, Aronia."

Aronia nodded and switched to the laser song momentarily to allow them to fire. However, she added another little tune of her own, one that sounded horrible, but Albere didn't seem to mind.

Albere had lost interest a while ago and wandered off to his control room leaving instructions for Aronia to throw them in "The Pit." So, without questioning the scientist, the poor girl took each of the party members one by one and dragged them to The Pit where she tossed them in. The Pit was a room whose entrance was built into the side of its wall. From the entrance, the room went down to the floor below and up where the ceiling was and the window to Albere's control room happened to be. He was looking out of that window as he watched Aronia toss the unconscious bodies of his enemies into The Pit. When the task was complete, Aronia locked the door and went up some stairs to join Albere.

Meanwhile, as the evil pair plotted in the control room, Valincar stirred. His eyes opened slowly, taking in the fairly dark area. The floor and walls where made of metal like the rest of the building, but is was black metal with small green lights running everywhere giving the room an eerie green glow. The nightshade stumbled up and managed to hover in place. He could make out the form of his allies; he was hoping they would awaken soon.

Lily groaned slightly, her arms moving slowly into position so she could pick herself up. She pushed down on the ground with her hands and wrists, shaking her head a bit as she rose to her feet. The archer soon was on her feet, and looking around, her eyes drooped slightly from exhaustion. She attempted to walk towards another body she recognized, stumbling a bit along the way.

Lily knelt down next to Czeslaw and paused there, hovering over his unconscious body. She seemed to glare at him for awhile, then she grabbed his shoulders and heaved him upright. Lily then began to violently shake Czes to and fro, his head bobbing, dangerously close to breaking his own neck. "Wake up, damn it!" Lily shouted in his ear.

At first, she felt nothing. And then, a sudden sharp pain forced her awake.

Rosetta snapped open her eyes and stared into the darkness. After a moment, she sat up, slowly, so as to not aggravate her wounds. She wasn't bleeding anymore, thankfully. Though, she was surprised she hadn't died yet. The Element Striker looked around, noting the green lights. It provided her some light but not a lot.

Standing to her feet, she brushed off her clothing.

"Really going to need that bath now," Rosetta murmured to herself as she took notice of the filth covering her. Hopefully, she wouldn't get sick.

"Huh?" Czeslaw groaned as his eyes slowly opened, only to see Lily holding him up, "Oh... Hey. Where are the others?" He gently brushed Lily's hands off of him and staggered to his feet; a drop of blood slowly leaked down his face, "What's this?" He took his hand, wiped the blood off of his cheek with it, and examined it. He must've fallen on his head when he collapsed onto the ground. He turned his body multiple times until he had seen the entire room. Only Rosetta, Valincar, Lily, and himself were conscious.

Sonia smiled in her sleep, softly humming the tunes she kept hearing. As she slept, she imagined herself with Clara, listening to the graceful music drift through the air. Suddenly a sharp burst of pain woke her, the music shatted as she stirred. A tear streamed down her cheek, obviously unhappy with the painful awakening.

"Wh... where... where are we?"

Valincar hovered over to the suddenly awakened Sonia. She seemed frightened. "I am afraid that particular piece of information has evaded my grasp, but I do know that the wicked scientist spared us for some purpose. However, that fact scares me more than if we were dead." The nightshade spoke his mind, though he wasn't sure how comforting it would be. Regardless, everyone had to know the truth about the situation they were in. They were in the clutches of the mad scientist.

Rosetta sighed, having heard Valincar's answer to Sonia.

"I suppose we'll just have to find a way out," she murmured, voice echoing through the mostly empty room. "I wouldn't be surprised if he were to send out a chimera at us." Most mad scientists tended to do that. The thought drew up some unpleasant memories. At least her brother wasn't around.

Zero opened her eyes weakly and sat up, her thoughts were a blur for a moment before she fully came to and tried to stand. No prevail, she was injured too badly from the battle before by those lasers that she had trouble even moving his legs. This almost flt unreal to Zero as she was unable to feel the wind or anyone else's presence yet she could still see everyone.
"How did we end up here?" Zero asked.

"I suppose someone dragged us down here, probably Aronia." Shadow's voice echoed down The Pit, fairly small enough for whispers to be heard.
He had woken up from his unconscious state just some minutes ago, and the room the party were in didn't seem to be appealing. Something was going to happen there, and the Ombre Skillblade, as well as everybody else, knew it.

At that moment, Albere looked down from the window for a split second and noticed that the party was now conscious. He grinned with joy and got on his intercom system. "Hey! You guys are AWAKE! Fantastic!" he exclaimed. "I ever so dearly HATE to do stuff to you when you were asleep~!" He took a second to laugh madly. "But now that you're all okay, how would you like to play another game?" That time, his voice was closer to a vicious growl. The sound of agonized groaning filled The Pit, but the party couldn't figure out where it was coming from.

Rosetta was quick to draw her rapier, eyes instantly alert. She glanced around cautiously, searching for the source of the sound and taking note of the amount of room they had. If they were surrounded, that would be a problem.

"Long range attackers and spell casters should move toward the back," she said, eyes still searching.
