((Er, I kind of left the room already. I'm in the hallway right now. Unless, I'm reading this the wrong way and you're not actually in the room yet but see me in the hall. If so, I'm sorry.))

I picked at my nails and flicked a random piece of dust off my shoulder. I looked up and took note of the one known as 'Xenosaga'. I admired her style and watched as she left the room. A shame. "Someone's rather eager," I noted with a laugh.
I hummed to myself, a little sweet tune, and became rather uninterested in the current happenings of our world - there were things to be pondered, such as the meaning of life; things far more interesting than a silly "whodunnit" because so long as I wasn't a target, I couldn't care less.

Re: Eternal Dream Murder Mystery
I let out a big yawn as I sat up from my bed. I had waked up much earlier but didn’t want to get out of bed and read a manga book for the entire morning and afternoon. Sighing, I jumped out of bed, and proceeded into the Room of Generalities. Like an animal, I can sense any impending danger, and I feel uneasy for some reason. But I think I know why I feel that way, another member was murdered.
My fears materialized as I found GhidoraMaster’s corpse in the room of Generalities, Aka-cha~, Durn, and a few others are already in the room. Somehow, I was intimidated a bit but still not exactly fazed by the series of deaths.
“Another death? We really need to find this murderer...” I said, “Did anyone find any clues at all while I was in my room?”

Re: Eternal Dream Murder Mystery
I glance up from my musings when I hear people speaking. Akamu, Durn, Xenosaga, and another voice I don't recognize. I peer around the doorway. It's a new member, apparently, and she seems rather haughty. Arrogant even.
I decide not to bother with them. They're planning on waiting this out I think, but I don't think that's the best way to handle this. For once, I don't want to be passive, but I doubt anyone is going to actually listen to me. After all, I'm just one crazy-sounding girl, what reason do they have to listen?
I walk over to the couch and sit down, mostly so I can look up at the bloody message on the wall without having to be distracted by my already tired feet. 'Accuse one of your own, and you shall be set free.' Set free? Does that mean we're prisoners? May as well be. But if we 'accuse' one of our own, I don't think that means the killings will stop. The murderer is simply playing a game with us, one in which he or she holds all the cards and owns the rules.

[Honestly, I don't think I'll be able to keep up with this little event. Feel free to kill me off and feed my remains to a stray or something. May that dog choke on my bones. Ahem... I've a... writing contest to attend to. I hope you all understand. (It's too fast paced, FAAAAWK)]

Re: Eternal Dream Murder Mystery
Startled, I paused in my step, spinning around on my heel to look at who was calling for me. Upon seeing Akamu, I blinked before nodding my head slightly in greeting. I looked behind him to see several others. Durn, Aura and Kuori I knew but I don't think I knew the last.
About to answer the sword wielding kitsune, I paused as Cerani came into my line of vision. I watched her enter the room with Ghidora's body and debated on calling out to her. Deciding against it, I think she wanted o think on her own, I turned back to Akamu and the others.
"I suppose you're right," I agreed with him but somehow, I didn't think the company would ease me. In fact, I think I would rather be left alone. My eyes wandered to the side, refusing the meet the eyes of the others. "Thank you for the offer but I'll stay on my own for now." I was angry. I know I was. I could feel it pooling at the pit of my stomach, swirling around as it continued to grow.
"Stay safe," was all I said before I turned back around and ran down the hall to my room. My hair trailed out behind me and I knew I needed that hairtie.
((If you're talking about the NaNoWriMo contest, I know how you feel.))

I woke up, hearing voices, I stood up and walk over to the door, see some people standing around and one walking away. "Hey!" I said, walking over to them, though keeping one hand near my sword.

Re: Eternal Dream Murder Mystery
The darkening sky, in finality, ended the struggling of the screaming sun and put its troubles to rest through nearly eternal slumber, for the golden beacon would merely return to life the next day. The new-born night glittered with stars.....but it was only the beginning...
~Night~
~Night~
Re: Eternal Dream Murder Mystery
Night was finally here. I had been staring at the message on the wall for hours now, and I was starting to get sleepy. The fact that there was a dead body not six feet away from me notwithstanding.
I leaned my head against the arm of the couch. Hopefully , I would dream tonight and gain some sort of answer. That's the one I liked about my dreams, they always told me something, so a lot of times I've seen something in advance. I think the longest lapse in between a dream and the actual event I've had was about . . . four years, I think. I can't really remember for sure, but maybe that's because I'm falling asleep. Hopefully someone will have the bodies taken care of by the morning, and no one else will be dead. My eyes have already dropped shut. Yep, I'm falling asleep.
"Good night." I mutter, not really knowing who I was talking to.

I watch as Xeno returns to her room, wanting to do so myself, I decline it. I think it might be better to stick as a group, although I like being alone much more. "So, where are we planning on sleeping tonight? I personally think it would be much easier to just separate, sleep in your own bed, and lock the door. But I'll do whatever." I catch up to Aura and the others, wondering what they were planning on doing for the night.

Re: Eternal Dream Murder Mystery
I turned to the others and sighed. "No, if we do that, the killer will have freedom to take whoever he or she wants, I say we stay in one room, and one person sleep at a time, that way, we'll have three lookouts, and we'll be safe from and attacks... or betrayals..." He eyed the others suspitiously then smiled. "Unless you wish for me to stay up all night and keep watch, if you feel confortable with that..." I sighed. "But, we must stay in the same room, survival is key."

Re: Eternal Dream Murder Mystery
"There's no way I'm letting you stay awake while everyone else slumbers. That just might be suicide." I sigh in Akamu's general direction, "You're just as much of a suspect as me, so don't act all high and mighty."
I pace to the other side of the hall, still speaking to Akamu, "Also, how would locking ourselves in our own rooms be any different from staying together? What happens if the killer happens to be in our little group here? More than likely, we suffer one casualty."

I laughed. "I know. But, if you wish to do that, I guess..." I sighed and looked around, wondering. "We'll take a vote, then. Those who wish to lock themselfs in their respective rooms, say so, if you wish to carry through with my plan, say so. It's one vote for each so far..."

I groan. I think I hear raised voices in the hall.
"Hey, would you guys shutup? Tryin' to sleep here . . . "
With that, I drift off once more.

Re: Eternal Dream Murder Mystery
What was I doing? Where was I going? I didn't know anymore.
I had past right by my room, past the Glade, through the Hall, straight through the Vortex, dashed through the Meadow and finally stopped at the Wasteland. There, I collapsed onto my knees.
It was quiet. Almost eerily so. But it was comforting and I closed my eyes, listening to the emptiness of it all. We weren't allowed here. Not really anyway. It was too dangerous. There was nothing really known about the place after all. But somehow, it felt safer than the other places.
"I hate them," I whispered. "I hate them, I hate them, I hate them." I continued like this, turning those three words into a sort of mantra, feeling my anger dying bit by bit before there was nothing left. I was tired. I always felt tired after calming my anger. But the mantra had done nothing to destroy the feeling of betrayal that continued to lurk within me.
I'll kill them. Whoever the killer was, I'll kill them. Killing people was a sin that weighed down on the perpetrator but it was a sin I was willing to bare. Because right now, this feeling was worse than any other feeling I had ever felt.

"I'm up for your plan, Durn." I said, revealing my current position. I have been hearing all of this from the shadows, enough time for me to understand the plan. "We are fighting back, not surviving."

"Thank you, Shadow." I reply to the member in a tone of respect, "Not only will we be safer alone, if the killer tries to unlock our doors, we will most likely hear him doing so. When this happens, the 'victim' will escape from his/her room's window and expose the killer."

Re: Eternal Dream Murder Mystery
I let out a sigh while watching the others argue. I really didn't care which plan they took, the chances of us surviving was about the same in both situations.
"I really don't care about this..." I said finally, "But I'll stay with Aka-cha~ if it makes him feel better..."

Re: Eternal Dream Murder Mystery
"Well then," I glance at Kuori and Akamu, "I wish the both of you luck. I hope we can still meet again tomorrow." With that, I wander off into the bland, white hallways of the Headquarters.
As I wander down the halls, I wonder, who is this killer? Why is he/she killing innocent members? Does he/she have a grudge against Masquerade and some others?
After a few minutes of pondering what was going on, I reach my room. As I walk into my room, I leave the door ajar. A few minutes later, after I prepared my bed, I closed the open door and locked it. I checked the windows. Locked.
Everything was ready.
With that, I fell into a deep slumber.

I grabed Kuori by the arm and smiled. "Great, let's get going." I dragged him all the way back to my room, going in, and locking the door behind me. I locked the window and then pointed at the bed. "Kuori, you sleep, I'll wake you when it's you're turn to keep watch." With that, I grabed my sword, turned off the lights, and sat in the corner, waiting.

Re: Eternal Dream Murder Mystery
OoC: Crap, I just noticed I was writing in past tense...
Seeing as everyone agreed with the current plan and went to their respective bedrooms, adding the fact it is late in the night, I decide to go and lay on my comforting bed.
I open my bedroom's door, and smile coldly at the darkness. Without even turning on the light, I quickly glance at everything, looking for weapons. Two slashers made by the perfect refining technique of titanium, ornamented by metal carvings on the blade itself and small, spiked protuberances on both ends of its handle... They are placed randomly on a small table on the left. Directly in front of me, my sword rests, the dark-colored blade made from a rare yet extremely useful metal known as Laconia shines with the moonlight, the handle with the blood red ruby encrusted on the middle sparkling in the darkness.
I lock the door, and immediately look at the window. Locked. I grab my sword, and sit down on the bed...

Re: Eternal Dream Murder Mystery
For some odd reason, Plattack is not worried about the killer, his door remaining arrogantly unlocked as he sits at his desk in his room studying vigorously for some unknown cause. His pencil scratches furiously against the paper, word upon word spewing from it.
Plattack's door opens slightly with a creak causing him to turn around instantly. In his line of sight, there is....nothing? Rising from his chair, Plattack goes and looks out into the hallway. No one was there. All that is present is the horrid stench of corpses. In revolt, he retreats into his room and shuts the door quickly. His eyes widen and, before a scream can escape his mouth, a gag is crammed into his mouth.
It was the killer. The killer slammed Plattack into the floor and drew a sword, similar to the one that the killer used to disembowel Shandreara. Plattack knows his death is coming. It would be just his luck, after all. He faces the killer's blade with courage, but an undeniable fear of death creeps throughout his veins. He closes his eyes and feels the blade slide easily across his neck. In horror, he tries to scream again at the pain, but fails to utter a single sound. Forced to watch his own blood drain from his neck, Plattack's vision begins to fade....and his thoughts follow soon after....
The killer rises, glaring at the dead body that lie before the killer. Before doing anything, the killer locks Plattack's door and unlocks his window. Opening it, the killer drags Plattack's body over to the window and tosses the body out. Below, the corpse lands with a thud. With no fear, the killer recklessly leaps out of the window as well. A trail of blood leads from the puddle near the door to the window, the crimson mess smearing the sill.
The killer endeavors with great effort to drag the body to the Wasteland of Destruction. The killer plans to make a message out of Plattack's body and what other place would have more of an effect? Laying Plattack's body out on the rocky ground of the wasteland, the killer spreads his arms and legs. Trailing back a ways, the killer returns with a large sack full of various weapons. A grin creeps upon his face.
The killer withdraws a sword from the sack and, without hesitation, stabs it viciously into Plattack's right arm, blood instantly saturating the arid soil. The next weapon is a katana. Raising the killer's arms high into the air, the killer jabs that weapon into Plattack's other arm. More blood. A spear is crammed nonchalantly into Plattack's right leg, and several lengthy and serrated daggers into the other leg. Even more blood. The killer grimaces. The final weapon in the sack is a scythe. With precision, the killer eases the blade into Plattack's upper chest, allowing it to pierce slowly into the victim's heart.
With a final glance at the killer's mockery to crucifixion, the killer tosses a handwritten note on the ground that reads:
"Ignorance leads a man nowhere."
A look of insane satisfaction graces the killer's visage as the killer takes the sack and makes the retreat.

Re: Eternal Dream Murder Mystery
I was walking around, yawning because I didn't get a wink of sleep at all. I smell something. "Blood!?" I thought, running to Plattack's door, trying to open it, finding it was lock. "I'm not in the mood for this!" I thought, grabbing my sword and slash at the door a few times, braking it down. I looked down, sees a pool of blood on the floor. I remove one of my arm armor to feel the blood, it was fresh. I stood up, seeing that was a trail, I follow it until it lead to a window. I jump out of the window and contune to follow the blood trail into the Wasteland of Destruction, that is when I see Plattack's body and the note, I picked up the note, read it and started to head back, thinking of who can kill him as I made it back to the HQ, I jump back into the window and started to look around for everyone. "GUYS! GUYS! SOMEONE ELSE HAS BEEN KILLED!" I yelled.
