I awoke to someone's voice, and it wasn't a good message. I slowly stood up and left me room, sword in hand. I saw some boy runing down the hall and quickly ran to catch up with him, leaving Kuori behind. I jumped infront of him to stop him. "What happened? Who's been killed!? Tell me!" I grew impatent quickly, and took a step forward, my sword at the ready.

I look at Akamu. "Plattack has been killed, though the killer is getting smarter. The killer dragged the body from Plattack's room all the way to Wasteland of Destruction, I found his body, there was a sword on one arm, a katana in his other arm, knifes and daggers in one leg, a spear in his other leg and a scythe in his chest. Also there was a handwritten note, I brought the note to show everyone." I said, handing Akamu the note.

I sighed and bueryed my face in my hand. "So... Platt's dead now? That was quite a grosome sight, I assume." I looked over the note, with confusion, my hand tightening on my sword. "The killer is... warning us? He is basicly saying we need to be prepared... strange..." I looked back at the original message and my face hardened. "I don't get it... he's telling us he's among us... and telling us to be prepared... infact, we don't even know if it's a he!" I yelled, suddenly husimg myself. "Sorry for the outburst, we must let the others know..."

I nodded my head. "Yeah, also the killer must have some more of area where he or she keeps his or her weapons, I mean if I was the killer and I wanted to pin it on someone, I wound use the same kind of weapon." I said, crossing my arms over my chest. "Also I think we shound start a weapon check list for anyone that has a weapon, to keep track of all of the weapons." I said.

I awoke in my room, no surprise there. Although, I was very surprised to see I was using my door nob as a pillow of sorts, but at least it was locked. I cautiously exit my haven into the uncertain halls of the DHQ.

The stench of a nearby corpse forces me to contort my face into that of anger and disgust. Why haven't we moved the damned bodies yet? The smell's nearly unbearable now. I suppose I'd dump them out of the nearest window, but for now, I had one single thing on my mind:cereal.

I aimlessly wandered the corridors of the complex and finally reach my destination. I then progress to carrying out the cereal-crafting routine, and replace the instruments of the procedure into their correct places when all is completed.

"Ah. Another beautiful day in the slaughterhouse.". I then proceeded to devour my meal, the sunlight partially blinding my groggy eyes.

Hm?

Blinking wearily, I glanced around. Strange. I was sure I heard something. But this was the Wasteland of Destruction. No one came around here. Standing up, I brushed myself off, wincing slightly. The rocks of the Wasteland made it a pretty uncomfortable place to sit but I hadn't noticed at all, too absorbed in trying to dissolve my anger.

Slowly, I scanned the land. Maybe it was just my imagination. There wasn't anybody around. I was probably becoming paranoid. . . .

Breathing out slowly, I stepped forward, intent on returning to the others. I ignored the pain in my bare feet from the rocky field but paused when something slimy touched my foot. Freezing, I turned wide eyes downward to see red.

Blood.

Panicking, I spun around, eyes searching frantically. Where was it coming from? It didn't take long for me to catch sight of a figure lying on the ground, surrounded by red.

Oh god.

Sucking in a breath, I covered my eyes, standing alone. And I had just gotten rid of my bloodlust too.

Squinting my eyes, I awake from my deep slumber. As I slowly get out of bed, I smell a fresh scent of blood nearby. I then quickly prepare myself for the day, clothes, and all, and unlock the door of my room. I open the door, seeing Akamu and Chibimon in a nearby hallway.

"What the hell happened?" I grunt.

I finished my cereal, as I now do it ritually, in hopes that a 'bowl a day will keep the killer away' kinda thing. I placed the empty bowl in the sink and went back into the complex system of marble hallways that makes travelling such an arduous task.

I came to the conclusion that the best way to dispose of the bodies would be the easiest. Although disrespectful to them, and proper burial wasn't really an option. If there is a life after death, I'm sure they'll understand. By chance, I happened upon Shandreara's body first.

"Huh. You would think even without a killer on the loose, one would lock their bedroom door before going to sleep.". Sure, people say it's unhealthy to talk to yourself, but all mockery requires is an audience. If I like it, that's all that matters. It required everything I had, but I hoisted the rank corpse onto my shoulder, and sluggishly walked toward the nearest windowsill. Due to the stench, it felt like an eternity of transportation before final deposition of the dead body was complete.

"One down, two to go...", I obviously didn't have to move my head to smell the rotting stench of flesh on my shoulder. I hated getting my hands dirty. "Ugh, I'm gonna need a few showers after this...". I cursed under my breath under the influence of the ever present odor as I continued down my random path.

"I need food!" I thought to myself, walking into the kiction, looking to see what food we have. I grab a very raw poke chop. "Good enough." I though as I started to eat the very raw poke chop.

I had propped Masquerade's body on a cart and pushed it on a metal ramp near Ghidora's body, before finally considering the immorality of this stunt. "Oh well, I've done this much, and wasted much valuable time to do this.", I proceeded to drizzling Ghidora's body, which I had moved away from flammable objects, with gasoline. I moved his body further up the metallic ramp near the cart to be sure I got the desired effect.

The cart was normal, other than the fact there was a small Lysol can attached to it, which was tied to a rope wrapped around Ghidora's wrist.

I got out a box of matches, struck one against the rough side of the box, and dropped it on Ghidora's body. The flames raged all over his body, and finally lit up the rope, the flames followed the rope to the Lysol can, and I dove into a nearby hallway as the can exploded, sending Masquerade's body out the window unceremoniously with a crash occurring shortly after.

"Woooohooooo!", I exclaimed, jumping up and down with glee. That was the most exciting thing I'd ever done, and it was well worth it. "Now to run back into the maze of corridors so someone doesn't find me and beat me up for it.".

I heard an explosion and quickly ran to see what happened only to see Aura dive into the hallway. I grab Aura by the neck and slam him against the wall, while I grab one of my knives and put it near Aura's neck. "Why did you do that to the bodies!?" I said angrily. "You should have given them a ceremonious burial instead of burning the bodies and blowing them out of the windows!" I said, trying to calm myself down, but it wasn't working.

"Well"..., I began with a maniacal chuckle, "I didn't like Ghidora, and since their bodies were rotting, I decided to get rid of the stench in a way that would entertain me. And ya know what? It felt goooood.".

I giggled again, and pulled out my cheap katana, using a sleight-of-hand to quickly spin the dull-side of the blade vertically, and knock Dark's knife-wielding hand away from my neck. A dangerous move, but the adrenaline was just too much.

I flipped the blade so that I could strike Dark with the edge if I had to.

Don't make me do this...I really don't want to. I wouldn't have reacted this way had it been a gun, but a knife means a long and painful death. I will NOT have that!". I backed away a few steps, insanity dissolving into fear.

I sheathed the katana, and ran like hell down the marble halls.

I watch Aura run down the halls, sighed deeply, putting my knife away, walking out of the HQ, walking into the Wasteland, to where Plattack's body is, I remove the weapons and put him on my back, I walked back to outside of HQ as I started to bury Plattack's body.

I dunno how long I had ran, but it felt like a Marathon. I panted heavily for a while, and finally, as my breathing slowed, and collapsed to the floor, and sat against the wall. Being forced to pull a weapon on a friend over something so petty as blowing up corpses, how pathetic. I unsheathed my katana and threw it into the wall, the blade barely cutting into it, it fell to the floor with a metallic clang.

"It'll take a few hours, but at least that dreadful stench will no longer plague these halls...", I crawled over to my sword, realizing I had expelled most of my energy. "Damn, should've eaten more than cereal today.". I grabbed the handle, and re-sheathed the sword, sitting against the opposite side of the hall now.

I slowly closed my eyes....but forced myself awake, as I had just realized the time of day. The killer would likely take another life tonight, and it wouldn't be mine. I forced myself back up, and dashed into the nearest room, slamming the door shut, and locking up the windows and door. I shoved any furniture I could in front of the door, and took refuge in a shadowy corner.

For some reason, the gravity of the murders and the terror of death crashed onto me like a rogue wave. I would not sleep tonight, as paranoia had me in its iron grip. With the setting sun and the uncloaked moon as my witness, I would not die tonight.

Not on the killer's terms, but if need be, my own.

Eternal Dream Murder Mystery - Page 6 Empty Re: Eternal Dream Murder Mystery

Post by Cerani Sun Nov 15, 2009 2:47 pm

I had woken once, to what I think was a very loud Bang!. I'd looked around dazedly for a few moments, then ducked my head under my arm to shield my eyes from the blinding daylight.

The next time I woke up, The sky was much darker. I'd practically slept through the whole day. I sit up and stretch my creaking joints, damning the early signs of arthritis, and blow out a sigh. I wasn't sure what kind of day it had been, but apparently I'm going to know what kind of night it will be. I glance around the room, and a slight oddity struck me: Ghidora's body wasn't where I left it. I shrug and think that the others must've finally moved it. There was still blood everywhere, so that meant the smell would not go away until someone cleaned that up. I decide it won't be me, for now, and leave the room. I roam until I find the kitchen. I don't feel very hungry so I just grab a bag of grapes and devour them. I throw the bag away and begin to roam the halls again.

Only now do I realize how eerily quiet the Dream HQ can be, and shudder. But then I realize that killer roams these halls too, and that angers me. I want a weapon, but if someone saw me roaming the halls at this time of day (or night) with some sort of weapon in my hand, well it'd be hard convincing that I'm not the killer I think. I'd be pretty suspicious if I saw me in that situation. So for now, I'll just continue to roam these quiet halls, in search of something I hope I won't find.

As I watch Dark run off, I wonder, "It would be nice if you actually told me who died, Dark." I then sigh and walk back into my room once more and lay on my bed. I take my pillow and slam it over my head. I need some sleep, this was getting ridiculous. Nobody was even taking action, it was almost as if everyone was just shrugging off the deaths, burying, or disposing of the corpses. I wonder when people will start taking some action and actually act to find the insane killer.

I walk over to my window and lock it, and then I do the same to my door. I then pace over to my armchair and take a seat, pulling out a nice book.

"I suppose I'll just read for the rest of the day."

It was dark finally, and I still wasn't tired. Prowling the halls in the dark is kinda fun actually, even with a killer prowling them as well. Getting to see the Dream HQ in a whole different light, so to speak, is neat. The way the shadows and moonlight seem to dapple the marble floors, paint stripes on the walls and ceilings, it's almost beautiful. What would make it better would be if this hanging cloud of dread would lift.

Eternal Dream Murder Mystery - Page 6 Empty Re: Eternal Dream Murder Mystery

Post by Masquerade Sun Nov 15, 2009 9:44 pm

LuckyLuke lay on his bed staring up at the ceiling. Ever since the he arrived at the DH, he stayed alone. Now, he finds himself unable to sleep. Everyday he hears the shouting about more corpses being found and the like, and he determines that staying in his room was the right choice. He sighs in content.

A flashing glint in the moonlight streaming through the window. Blood splatters the floor and soaks the bed. LuckyLuke lay motionless in his bed, the content look still gracing his face, but blood pours from a fatal neck wound. Finding the murder unsatisfying, the killer ventures into the hall searching for another victim.

Raxiel sits at his desk in front of the window, staring out over the Meadow of Melodies, watching the glowing flowers sway in the night breeze. Less aware than Luke had been, he carelessly leaves his door unlocked every night. Thus, surprise sinks into him instead of fear when the door creaks open. "Oh, it's you," Raxiel says nonchalantly as he turns to face the killer. "We haven't spoken in a while. What's up?"

Without saying a word, the killer approaches Raxiel swiftly and before he has a chance to scream, the killer slices his throat as well with the same dagger that the killer had used on Luke. Raxiel's corpse slumps over and falls out of the chair, landing on the floor and tainting it in blood. The killer grimaces and chuckles at the same time while taking Raxiel's lifeless hand and pulling on it. The killer drags the corspe all the way back to Luke's rooms and deposits it there, a trail of blood staining the hallway from the dragging.

The killer's stomach rumbles and the killer decides to risk a venture for the kitchen.

In the kitchen, ShadowBlade is up whipping himself up a midnight snack of fried potatoes. The killer glares at him. Fried potatoes was NOT a midnight snack and the killer would not be having any of it. With utmost stealth, the killer sneaks up behind ShadowBlade and puts one hand one top of his head and the other pushing up on his jaw so he can't open his mouth. A smirk of amusement creeps onto the killer's face as he slams ShadowBlade's head against the burning stove. The victim struggles violently, trying desperately to escape his excruciating torture, but the killer holds strong. When ShadowBlade ceases to fight back, the killer allows for the corpse to slide easily to the floor. Half of ShadowBlade's face is scorched beyond recognition and the eye that had once rested in the socket so peacefully now stains the burnt cheek of its owner--a small melted puddle--and the socket is now empty.

The killer takes a couple of steps back and flees.

RainbowVeins is admiring artwork in the Hall of Visualization. It always makes him tired so he can sleep easily. However, he becomes alerted to hurried footsteps and hides behind a statue. Could it be that killer everyone's talking about? The footsteps slow down to an easy stride. RainbowVeins is left shivering behind the shadow. Oh god...the killer is getting closer...it has to be... He peeks out from behind the statue and is relieved.

"Phew...I know you--" His words are cut off as a dagger is plunged into his heart. Amazingly, RainbowVeins staggers up onto his feet, only to have the dagger plunged into the back of his right leg. He tries to scream, but finds no energy to. The killer sits on his back and slams his head into the white marble floor several times until RainbowVeins is finally dead.

However, a great idea crosses the killer's mind. The killer would add another piece of fine artwork to this hall. The killer turns the body over and begins carving into the area around the heart with the murder weapon. The killer cut and cut until the killer could remove a heart-shaped chunk of flesh from the corpse. Carelessly, the killer tosses the heap of flesh at a nearby wall, splattering blood all over the place. Inside the heart-shaped hole that now plagued RainbowVeins's corpse's chest, the poor victims unbeating heart is available for all to see. The killer props the killer's work against the wall next to the statue and leaves a note for the members of the DH:

"Death is beautiful."
