Oh great, another had flown up to fight them, and Tannas was about out of mana with which to decimate the creatures. He grumbled to himself, drawing a single green glyph this time and casting it at the new arrival. After the rock shards hit the dragon he stood there, not sure if he should move or attempt to run up and physically attack the creature. For one thing he wasn't exactly durable and for another he wasn't really trained in hand to hand fighting. He might be strong but he hardly knew how to throw a punch, something he regretted at the moment. He'd have to get someone to teach him one day.

Fuck me, Dimmer clutched his heart, nearly wheezing from shortage of breath. He seriously just exploded at the worst possible time at the worst possible person. He was surely fucked now, nothing could stop that man's anger from reaching him after this fight was over. For once in his lifetime, Dimmer actually wished that this fight would last an eternity. Who knows what that man with the magical, flying rocks would do to him!?

Sariska, I'm sorry, Dimmer cried, though didn't show much expression on his face, Your stupid brother is about to become Requiem In Pacem very shortly. But worry not, dearest sister, for I will give our parents their due 'fuck you' from you. Dimmer hung over the cannon that he was meant to fire, now useless due to the waiting he had to do before being able to reach the damned thing. It was all that man's fault. If he hadn't gotten in the way, Dimmer could have done what he always wanted to do.

Face to face with imminent death that would surely come soon to him, Dimmer began fiddling around with some spare tubes that he had on his person. He wouldn't go down without a fight, or at least that's what Sariska threatened him with. If someone were to attack him, he wasn't allowed to just give up and die. Otherwise Sariska would find a way to revive him, torture him, and then kill him again in the most brutal fashion.

This man wasn't frightening. Not in the slightest. When compared to Sariska, this man was like a baby bunny that just found a very delicious and bitter leaf of lettuce to munch on. Harmless. A wee little baby.

Sariska was a demon. A fucking demon with no limiters, even for her own siblings. Mostly Dimmer, but if Chloe were to do something stupid, Sariska would turn into that frightening demon and scar the poor girl for life. And Dimmer would not protect her either, because Sariska was fucking scary.

The amateur Sky Pirate lashed out at the cloud creature yet again as it drew closer to them. If anymore of them got here before they finished off at least one, they might not be able to handle it. Sonata moves to F4.

Now that it was disabled, the creature seemed to want to get away from the action to recuperate, but that wasn't in Sonata's schedule book at the moment. She was used to it, for most monsters weren't apt to sitting there to take the blows she rained down upon them. Although a hassle, she'd just have to do the best she could in the meantime. With a swift movement, she was upon the flying beast, saber at the ready. She sliced it merely once, hoping to have left some mark upon the creature, as was the way of giving up one's power to relive the feeling of growing stronger from the beginning once again.

Everyone else seemed to be pacing themselves well enough. Her vantage point allowed access to view all of them. At first, there was the possibility of being overwhelmed, one she did not think was likely, but could still happen. Judging by how things were going, however, it seemed they would be just fine along with the ship itself and the rest of the passengers within. The siren was pleased, but she did not allow herself a smile, but more or less a rather sad, whimsical expression. There was still something off about the whole thing that no one knew about.

The reason didn't matter, Yuri would easily take this one down as well with her lethal kama strikes. She darted past the old woman again and stopped right beside the flying creature, leaping up to reach it and striking it twice.

Oh fuck me with a stick, Dimmer groaned in his head as he saw one of the flying creatures get closer to him. He decided, despite his erratic heartbeat and pounding headache that resulted in him being FAR too close to a monster, to stay behind just for a little while to see more of what this cannon was capable of. He turned the big machine around and pointed it at the flying thing, lit the fuse, and took off in the other direction, not even bothering to look back to see if he hit the thing or not.

Just as his legs began to get tired - for he was fairly weak when it came to his lower body - Dimmer tripped over his own foot and tumbled down, landing face-first, smacking his forehead against the unforgiving deck of the ship. After a fit of pain, Dimmer fell still, thinking he could avoid doing any more fighting or running around if he played dead or something. His breathing was irregular, and he often let the occasional moan leak through his mouth, so it wasn't a very convincing act at all.

The mage watched the mechanic stumble and trip, thankfully past his feet this time. He couldn't help thinking what an idiot the man was, and that he had no place in battle. "Is there someone to look after you?" He inquired, sarcasm clear in the set of his mouth and quirking of an eyebrow. Tannas shook his head, deciding he was much more interested in getting away from the cloud covered dragon and skirted around it.

The woman watched as her allies assaulted the creatures, her grin spreading as one looked to be on the edge of death. All she would need to do is give it a slight push and it would collapse into sweet release. Without a second thought, the Sky Pirate quickly lunged forward, her weapon darting forward.

She was now no longer hidden, but that wouldn't be much of an issue anymore. There weren't many of the monsters left, the group would be able to dispatch of them quickly. She ran to the nearest enemy, even without being invisible she was still incredibly difficult to see, being almost a blur. Then two strikes at the monster.

Sonata moves to G6.

Sonata took a few steps across the deck in order to get at least a bit closer to the newest creature to appear, and noted it was already under assault. Too far away to do anything direct, Sonata decided to attempt to put it to sleep. As it drifted into slumber, its guard would surely be lowered making it easier for those closer to it to hit it and deal more damage. Focusing on the only creature who could hear her song, she opened her mouth and let the astonishing, wordless music empty into the air causing it to waver. Only a few moments later did Sonata's voice add the words that could only be understood in the heart:

Oh, brazen sailors,
on this night, come to me.
In my arms and in my song
embrace your destiny.

Happiness forever
yours beneath the sand,
peace of mind, unknowing,
together hand in hand.

Now your thoughts be fading,

In her voice, the will to force the creature to slumber was extremely evident, though there was no guarantee that it would succumb. Those with strong wills of their own had a habit of being able to resist the song. It was those that the sirens feared most, even though they are immortal. Having everlasting life does not mean that they cannot be hurt. Sonata placed her hand on her heart and drew in a slight breath. "Might not be the most helpful at the moment, but let us see the result and then judge," she said mostly to herself in a calm voice.

He didn't want to see these people. In fact, for the first time in years, Dimmer began to wish he was home with his sisters. Grumbling about the entertainment industry, Dimmer pushed himself up off the ground and darted past the others to a place where it should be much safer.

Tannas scoffed as once more the mechanic was thrown into him, beginning to think it was simply fate literally pushing them together. The other didn't really say anything to him specifically, only seeming just as annoyed and resigned to it as the he was. He paid no further attention to it as Einar handed him a potion to consume. The mage nodded his thanks to the captain. Indeed the only reason he'd quit demolishing the creatures was because he hadn't the means to do so. He set his hands glowing with green energy and started drawing two jagged glyphs, and after this hopefully he wouldn't have to deal with the other dragon creature. Even with the potion, he knew his powers were ebbing, like having an adrenaline rush slowly absorb into one's system.

Watching as the others teamed up on the previous creature and even went so far as to assault the new arrival, Victorine grabbed her weapon by the lowest hilt. Twisting it around in a spiral fashion, she grinned before thrust it forward in a manner most erratic.

Yuri held the two kamas out beside her. The two auras, one dark and ominous while the other clear and bright, had enveloped her left and right hands respectively. Then as she swung her kamas out to the sides, careful not to strike her allies, the auras left behind and trail and created what could be seen from a bird's eye view to be a yin-yang symbol.

"Oh everyone's a critic." Tannas commented, rather familiar with others always telling him what he should improve on before he even had a total grasp on what exactly he was doing. To call it irritating wouldn't do the act service. His ability to wield two glyphs at once had overtaxed his mana cycles, so he was stuck drawing just the one. "No one says anything when four enemies are gone in less than a minute." A sour look settled on his face as he stepped closer to the last Neburaco, or at least what he hoped was the last one. The thing looked like it'd been bleeding a lot but maybe while it slept it didn't notice.

Dimmer moves to C-4

There. Dimmer stopped just before the edge of the ship and turned around to look at what remained of the flying birds. There was only one left, the carcasses of the other birds had either fallen off the edge of the ship or lay beaten and broken on the deck. Dimmer could relax, but decided to stress out even more, because he just cornered himself. All of these insane people, fighting these birds, would eventually converge on him and start yelling shit at him.

Dimmer could do without the demotivational shouting. Not to mention that guy with the magical, flying rocks was going to come straight for him as soon as all this was over and beat him senseless for Dimmer's outburst from earlier. Dimmer shivered, not realizing it was more from the breeze than fear.

"This is just my fucking day, isn't it?" Dimmer murmured to himself, hating the day.

Sonata waits.

It seemed that now that the beast was slumbering, it would make an easy target for the others to efficiently finish off allowing her to regain her breath, not that she had lost it. With all the swimming she did, her figure remained perfect and her muscles hardly ever got tired. She allowed her saber to shimmer out of existence as she turned to face the front of the airship. If the last battle had been any indication, it seemed she would be required to send the bodies away again. Probably safer than just throwing them overboard, so she did not mind. Just...every time she sang that song, she hurt a little inside. Over the course of time, it had been painful to even hear the other sirens singing it, and she distanced herself from them when she recognized the tune.

Her gaze became vacant as she observed the skies. Was that the last of their troubles for now, or were there more enemies to come? If more did arrive, she would gladly congratulate them on their persistence as she ran them through with her weapon and sung them to sleep. Allowing herself a slight smile at the thought, she awaited the others to finish wiping the floor with the last monster.

And so ended another conflict. Some of the corpses still remained on the deck, and Sonata couldn't imagine it not being a problem, so she set about immediately getting rid of them. Raising her hands slightly, she began to sing the wordless Dirge of Sending. The purest sound of melancholy filled the air, bittersweet and sad...almost as if the melody could whisk one away if they didn't hold on to reality firmly enough. The siren's form was shrouded in an auroral veil, and as she sung on, a similar veil embraced the fallen monsters who had no spirit left--no will to remain in the realm of the living. Their bodies formed into large masses of light yellowish mist as they had before and seeped into the air upwards, condensing into sickly spheres before vanishing altogether. Sonata lowered her hands and touched her cheek gently, feeling the tiny bit of moisture there and wiping it away with great subtlety.

"My, I do hope that is the last time I must sing that song...at least for a while," she said aloud, her voice unreadable as she turned around and approached the captain once again. "Let us count our lucky stars that such a group of competent fighters was aboard for this excursion, isn't that right, Captain?" There was still confusion over why exactly the monsters were so fierce in their endeavor of attack, flagrantly displaying such feral hostility. All Sonata knew was that they had disposed of quite a few of the beasts; it would be stupid for any more to attack, though monsters tended to have a streak of stubbornness--they just didn't know when to stop.

Almost as bad as some humans...them and their faux arrogance, Sonata thought as she attempted to make herself seem more lighthearted than she was really at the moment. She wouldn't be content until the reason why the flying creatures were attacking so fiercely had made itself known.

"Yes, it's quite fortunate." The Captain agreed, a smile on his tired face as he pulled a handkerchief from his coat pocket and wiped it across his forehead. He slipped the cloth and then his blade back into their containers and then relaxed his posture. However, as he relaxed another screech was heard from the rear of the ship and he quickly grabbed his blade once more. "There are more of them?!" He blurted, his tired muscles shaking slightly as he readied for another fight.

But when no more dragons came from the sides of the ship, the Captain faltered. The woman, who had been going crazy during the fight was surprisingly calm at the moment; seemingly unfazed by the invisible screechers. When still no dragons came forward, the Captain tensed even more, rushing to the port side of the ship to look for them. He quickly staggered back, his body shaking slightly. "W-w-what is this?" He asked in disbelief, but before anyone else could ask what the matter was, the universe answered for him.

A ship twice the size of the Nova rose up from the thick blanket of clouds, a large surge of screeching enveloping the much smaller ship. All eyes looked up to find that decorating the sides of the large airship were many cages and in those cages were Neburaco similar to the ones they had just fought. All angry and clawing to get out and attack, some of them fighting each other through the closeness of their cages.

This ship was responsible for the attacks.

Dimmer cursed inaudibly under his breath, his frantic eyes looking from one person to the next, as if expecting one of them to run him over. He wasn't just afraid of the man with the magical, flying rocks now. It was this entire band of ruthless demons. Yes, there was no better word to describe them. Demons, all of them! Sariska would surely think the same...right? Yes, surely. She was his older sister after all.

...

Then again, Sariska was a demon too.

The screeching of another bird creature caught Dimmer's attention, and his head jerked toward the source. More beasts?! Dimmer groaned, he had enough of this already. That was when he decided to look over the edge of the ship. When he saw the other ship, huge and flying too close for comfort. And not only that, but it held many of those strange birds in cages. Was that ship responsible? Did it sic those birds on the Nova? If so, that was probably either the ballsiest crew in the history of the planet to be taking on demons, or it was a coincidence.

Dimmer hoped for the latter. With all his being.

Honestly, the last thing he expected to see was another ship, and hardly one decorated with dozens of cages holding more of the dragon creatures. His vendetta was momentarily forgotten when faced with this sight. Tannas took a few steps closer to the guildmaster, eyes never leaving the other ship. "Who are they?" He asked quietly, as if the dragon-bearing ship's crew could hear him. He wasn't exactly sure if they really could or not. There was at least one thing he was quite sure of though. Lucan was going to murder him when he got back, if the mage survived this. And while Lucan's version of murder might be more enjoyable, nonetheless, Tannas would probably die. Slowly.

"I... don't know." Aria whispered her pale face even paler as she looked upon the large airship that had risen up next to them. It was not the size she was intimidated by though, but rather the cages housing the very angry and highly bloodthirsty dragons. There were far too many of them, should the larger ship choose to release them, for the motley crew assembled on the deck to handle. Even with her powers aiding them, they would be overwhelmed and easily killed by the sheer number of enemies.

And that's just what appeared would happen, until the much larger ship lowered itself so that the decks were on the same level. A harpoon like contraption quickly fired from the other ship; but instead of spearing through the smaller ship it shot wires that coiled up around around the edge of the airship. Before anyone could react, however, the contraption spread out forming a metal bridge between the two floating ships. No more than two seconds later a fairly young man with raven colored hair appeared on the other end.

"I-I'll handle this." the older Captain stated shakily as the younger man began to make his way across the bridge with ease. But just as he was getting to the end, the rather wild woman who had come from the skies was already over by him, the Captain left to stand there and mentally groan.

"Vale! What are you doing here? Last time I saw you, we were-" the woman began happily, much to the man's displeasure as he quickly pushed her to the side. Had it not been for her ability to walk on air, she would have plummeted to her doom.

"Who's in charge here?" the man said in a calmly fierce voice, his visage impassive as he looked between the party members. His eyes settled on Aria for but a moment before the Captain stepped forward, beginning to speak but quickly cut off as Victorine had been. Only this time, he was cut off with a blade; one that was easily lodged in his stomach for but a moment before the man pulled the weapon from the older man's being.

"It is my pleasure to inform you that this ship and all aboard it now belong to myself." the man spoke as he wiped his blade clean. "Unleash you wish to end up like your beloved Captain I suggest you not resist." He added, now polishing his blade with a different cloth as many other men and women came from the other ship, outnumbering the party easily.

Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuck, Dimmer's thoughts raced as he stared from one person to the next. The captain, his employer, lay on the deck, soaking it with his blood. It took but mere moments before there was a small pool of blood surrounding the man. Dimmer knew from his experience with blood loss that there was no saving the captain now. The man and his crew from the other ship outnumbered them.

This was supposed to be a peaceful trip across the sky. But now the ship was captured by, of all things, pirates. Dimmer was not okay with this, but it wouldn't be very characteristic for him to throw his life away. He was a disgrace to the Eternal family because of his selfishness and unwillingness to participate in wars or law enforcement. Dimmer cursed under his breath, making sure to stay well out of the way of anyone he deemed reckless. The man with the magical, flying rocks. The insane female windwalker. The creepy-ass ninja girl. The siren was okay, but Dim made sure to stay away from her just in case. The older woman that was messing around with the man with the magical, flying rocks he stayed away from too.

In fact, Dimmer felt the safest when he was surrounded by pirates. And he still didn't feel safe in the slightest.

Today just kept getting worse and worse, and even if Sariska were here, she wouldn't save his useless ass.
