Malzahar is good, he does a lot of damage late game. But if their carry buys Quicksilver Sash then your ult is useless on them. His Q might take a bit getting used to landing since it has a delay.

I'm this close to giving up on LoL.

It's been two weeks that I've been playing daily and haven't vbeen able to get a single team capable of rational thought. Even bot games are scruciating.

I like the game, but the player base is just...ugh...

Anyone know a good build and runes for Diana?

Generally a generic AP caster rune/mastery page would work. You could go down the offense path, get Spellsword as well as the other AP masteries. Havoc is optional, or you can put those 3 points into something else. Then the remaining 9 points can go into utility for reduced Flash cooldown, reduced summoner cooldown, and the biscuit. Just remember to get MR for your runes because being a melee mid without resists you'll have a horrible time.

ZERI'S THOUGHTS ON NEW FREE CHAMPIONS:

Galio is okay. I'm not too interested in support tanks. I like him more than Alistar though. Less mana hungry.

Nami is fun. I generally like the ranged support, and using Nami as a support is something I can enjoy. Also: ULTIMATE SPAM FOR LULZ.

Already played Morgana before. She was fun, not all that interested though.

Rammus is difficult for me.

I own Anivia and Janna already.

I've seen Gangplank played really well. I've also seen Gangplank played terribly. I'll stick with Ashe as my main ADC.

I've seen a good Lee Sin. I've seen a terrible Lee Sin. I saw an amazing, clutch play Lee Sin. I don't like junglers all that much though. I'll play him once or twice to see if I can get a handle on him or something then completely forget about him.

I've played with others who use Varus. Many of them got butthurt whenever I kill steal them. That's their fault for going top lane with a kill steal master like Irelia. I'll try out Varus, but I'll most likely still stick with Ashe as my main ADC.

I want to try Nocturne. He seems like fun, though I have this feeling I won't really like him that much. I'll stick with Irelia as my main assassin/carry slayer.

Well, saving up all my IP now, and have quite a bit, and wow quints expensive.

I say flat MR blues, and either AP per level or I personally prefer flat Armor yellows

The only bad Varus would be if he were used by a complete noob to the game. Because I first-timed him last night and practically did nothing. Still got 14 kills (the most of my team.) Seriously. Once I got Hurricane, it was pretty lol. He's ridiculously easy to use. I hate seeing him in the hands of a really skilled player. XD

Also, first time Nami: 4/0/19

She is like my favorite support now, even more than Soraka (and I love Soraka like really really really hard.) I got thanked and appreciated by my team because of my good supporting. ; w ; It felt nice. I'm tempted to try AP Nami. I feel like that could be a really dangerous setup since I didn't even do a defensive build on her. It was more of a utility build. I should have gotten Chalice early because she is really mana hungry.

And Nocturne~<3 Enough said.

My first Nami was 6/1/16. My lane partner was an Ezreal, but I didn't let him feed properly. They asked me if I was going support or AD and I just said, "I have no idea, first time." I got a few compliments, and then friendly and teamwork honor after.

The death was because of lag. I had a major lag spike of death in the middle of a teamfight.

I still like Janna better as a support. I just need to learn how to play support in PVP is all.

But I'm saving up for runes, so I can't.


I'm actually really liking Alistar as a support, he has so much CC and with the proper mana regen (and if I'm lucky enough to get blue) he can really wreck face. o.O

Since everyone was talking about their first Nami game, I went to try my own.

I went 4/2/45.
I just followed around Vayne and did stuff. Nami is fun, though Lulu is my main support. :>

I've also recently become keen on playing Dominion. It's fun. :> Amumu just wrecks everywhere, bandage toss + ult on allied turret = "FUUUUUUUU" for enemy team. :3c

@Durn - That reverse Soraka is horrifying

@Lore - I've seen some good support Elises. She's a bit hard though if you can't multitask. I bought her bundle just because I liked her character design. She's also pretty good on Dominion because of her Rappel, stun, and good mobility in spider form.

After playing a few normal games, winning two, losing two, I decided to use Irelia for a bot game to vent some frustration and get some solid kills.

Normals:
2/2/5 Evelynn win
0/6/0 Soraka loss
11/1/5 Evelynn win
6/13/13 Evelynn loss

Irelia bot:
30/4/9

I tower dove a lot. One when I wasn't supposed to. Another time against Taric, destroyed him before the turret killed me. All the other times I tower dove, I got away or died after killing two while under turret fire.

In my game that I lost with Evelynn...an enemy Soraka carried the team. Fucking AP Soraka, with a dumbass Lux that didn't know how to use Lux. An Ezreal that thought I was a noob for not going 1v5 against a team with nearly full health. And a Garen that would constantly initiate without support nearby. I'm not blaming my team for the loss though. This Soraka was a platinum player. It was ridiculous.

He sucks as well.
Keep ulting as Nocturne and not rushing to the enemy... So just constant "Darknesssssss".

Our Garen was stupid, our Lux was stupid, our Ezreal was stupid.

Observation: A lot of the worse people will try to scapegoat one person on the team the moment everything goes south in hopes that the rest of the team will bandwagon on it so nobody else sees how bad they are.

Well, it doesn't work. Because we still see how bad they are.

On another note, I finally got Jayce. Hooray. Now I own Jayce, Irelia, and Riven, or what I call the "Rock, paper, scissors" of top lane. Funny thing is I haven't played in weeks.

Why isn't Jax or Nasus in your "Rock, Paper, Scissors"? D:
