Because you can't really "counter" a decent Jax due to his ridiculous late game, and Nasus can rather easily be shut down. I'm sure someone's going to eventually tell me that AP Jax is viable and that they had a game where they stomped as him, but I wouldn't recommend it. His Leap Strike and Empower only scale to 60% of his AP, and his Ult's passive proc only at 70% and only activates on every third hit. Going pure AP wastes his own passive, so if you're going to do something fancy, at most I'd go hybrid. Gunblade is still a nifty choice on him either way.

...why would you go pure anything Jax? The best build for him is probably hybrid. .-.
Also that above is the reason I quit top lane, so many champions that are just plain stupid. Also the fact that my group of friends needed a dedicated support

Then give me an ideal build for him. He's the only jungle I seem to be able to work with without runes.

I just played an intermediate bots game as Ashe. I had a Janna support, and I thought it was a bit of a bad idea considering what we were up against.

BUT NO.

THAT JANNA WAS A FUCKING PRO. I GOT SO FUCKING FED.

Game ended at 25 minutes, and I only died twice.

THAT'S HOW YOU FUCKING FEED YOUR CARRY. HOLY SHIT JANNA.

Synopsis:

We started the game with Ashe (me), Janna (my support), Katarina, Garen, and Shyvana. We fought a Garen, Sion, Vladimir, Soraka, and Miss Fortune.

I thought having a support in intermediate bots wasn't a great idea, but I was proved oh so wrong. That Janna helped me feed so hard.

We started off pretty good, despite Janna getting first blood for some reason. It was my ignite that killed MF. After the first few kills, I started peeling hard. It got to the point where I could walk up to Garen or Sion and just fucking murder them, despite them being so tanky. Vladimir came down at one point to gank. We killed him.

Here's the funny stuff for y'all:

VLADIMIR THOUGHT HE COULD KILL ME.

SO I KILLED HIM.

SION THOUGHT HE COULD TANK ME.

SO I KILLED HIM.

GAREN STARTED SPINNING.

SO I KILLED HIM.

SORAKA GOT IN MY SIGHT RADIUS.

Eventually Zeri ran out of enemies to kill so he killed his own allies and ended the game by simultaneously destroying both nexuses.
