Seeing that the thieves could easily slip past the party, Ashe moved. It could be suicidal to keeping the Thieves from escaping, but she had to get rid of some of them. She ran towards one and slashed. Fire Mana coated her blade and struck the wound the blade left.

Janie held her hands out in front of her as if preparing for something. The area around Janie became envelopedin a mist again, only that it was much more dense this time. Wen Janie began to move her arms like there were strings on each of her fingers and she was controlling a puppet, the mist dispersed into thin snake-like parts, all of them flying toward Leth and weaved themselves around her. With a quick tug of the imaginary strings, the mist entered Let's body again and came out moments later returning to Janie then immediatly disappearing.

Ashe wanted to chase after the thief but knew it would be useless. She turned her face towards the closest thief and sent her daggers. She would be dead in a minute, Ashe swore it.

Ashe moves to H7!

Ashe then raised her blade, The mana she used before sprung to life. She slashed once, the Fire Mana leaving as she pulled back for a stab. Her stab was charged with pure darkness which fled as she ripped the blade out and stabbed once more. This time Holy mana was left behind as she ripped the blade from the thief. One more stab without Mana would have killed her, but to be sure, a final slash also without Mana was sent at the thief.

"Be happy for your friend, she doesn't have to live through this!"

Janie saw one of the thieves ecape and cursed under her breath, which was an odd sight to see due to the fact that she was only 10. Nevertheless, she knew that pursuing the thief would be futile and she would rather take a non-moving target, more specifically the treasure chest. Janie ran in front of the chest and placed a key into the lock and opened the chest, taking out the content.

Ashe ran after the Thief, her Blade still churning with Mana. She slashed at the thief, hitting her target in the side. As the blade whipped around, Ice Mana leaped from the blade and froze the wound. Before it could be made permanent though, Ashe's blade swung around and cut through the Ice.

Janie watched the last thief slughtered, laughing slightly as she did. She turned to Serenity and nodded running over to the acolyte and showing her a staff. It was made of oak and had a small attachment at the bottom end which resembled a rattlesnake's tail.
"Yeah, I found this odd staff...and look, it makes a funny sound!" Janie said shaking the staff slightly and a sound came out that was much like the sound a rattlesnake's tail makes.
Janie gave the staff to Serenity for safekeeping and looked up the stairs, there was nothing else to do the cellar and she wished to make haste. For they were delayed long enough already and she really didn't want "Envy" to get what she come here for, it could lead to quite a few problems.

OoC: Okay...like before, allocate the Stat Points and pm Kuori or Xe-Xe about any new skills...

Janie was deep in thought , why would one of them be after that? And out of all people why "Envy"? Her train f thought was interrupted by Serenity asking her if it was okay for her to use that new staff. Janie smiled and nodded running to the staircase ready to get back up and continue through the library.
"By the way, none of you have told neither me nor Serenity your names? May I ask what they are?" Janie asked with a hint of curiosity that only a child could have.

"Ashe..."

The Mana Knight put away her blade, already walking up the stairs. She stopped halfway, trying to usher both Janie and the rest of the group continue. She wasn't one to waste time, and even if she was to defend this child, she wouldn't dilly dally.

"... Come... we musn't waste time..."

Janie looked at the two and smiled again, turning to the staircase and skipping up. She seemed to hae no intention of answering Anastasia's question. She giggled slightly and opened the door before turning toward her companions.
"Hurry! I wanna see the rest of the building!" Janie said before running off again deeper into the large, dark library and disappearing in the shadows.

Not long after Janie ran off came a high-pitched scream from the direction Janie was headed toward. It was obvious that the scream came from Janie as there would be no other child around. When the group reached Janie, she was cowering in a corner surrounded by many ghosts with snake-like bodies hissing at her.
"H-Help me Serenity...I'm sc-scared..." Janie said closing her eyes and refusing to look at the ghosts.
Then another ghost took shape a bit far away from the group, but unlik the other ghosts this one had a humanoid shape. He carried a staff which was taller than he was and a textbook that had decayed wih age, just like his cloak.
"LEAVE THIS PLACE AT ONCE! LEAVE US BE!" the humanoid ghost said, "ONE OF YOU FOUL MORTALS HAVE GOTTEN PAST ME, BUT NO MORE! I'LL PERSONALLY ERADICATE YOU SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO STAY!"
Two of the spirits floated back toward the humanoid ghost while the others all sunk into the ground.

Ashe ran towards Janie, her blade in hand. She quickly made her way to the girl, ready to defend her.

"Leave her alone!"

She wanted to slice up the spirits right there, but they moved out of range. She glared at the main spirit, giving him the message that he had crossed the line. Her look then softened as she looked towards Janie.

"Don't worry, they won't hurt you, I promise!"

Ashe's Elemental Strike is Holy!

Seeing that the intruders had no intention of leaving and that they had the gall to snap at him, the ghost hissed and began to float in mid-air.
"VERY WELL THEN, IF YOU ALL WISH TO JOIN ME IN THE AFTERLIFE THEN SO BE IT!" the ghost said.
With that, the ghost swung his staff and the spirits that had left before foloated out and tangled themselves around the group, entering all of ther bodies.
