"Let's finish this up quick, okay?" she stated simply, her voice nonchalant. Another flash of light crashed into the building and entered her sword hilt which then formed the glowing, white blade that was three times her size. With no hassle at all, she swung it down on the nearby spirit and watched the resulting explosion.

Anastasia uses Finishing Super Nova on Zommie! 28 Piercing Holy Dmg! WEAKNESS!! Damage has been doubled!

Elliot moves to F9.

Janie ran after Serenity, staying close behind the acolyte. for once, she was actually scared a bit, being tormented by spirits day and night with only a moment of rest once in a while had left a mental scar which she was unable to recover from.

Serenity watched the spirit curiously as it floated its way over to her. She blinked, watching closely. Suddenly, the Acolyte's eyes widened and she only had a split second to realize what had happened before she froze. Her staff slipped from her grasp and Serenity she wouldn't be able to do anything.

Suddenly, she smiled, laughing softly. "Well, that was a surprise. I admit, you frightened me for a moment." She laughed again, clearly amused. "It seems I can't do anything at the moment." Serenity turned around to look at Janie. "Don't worry. Just focus on doing your best, okay?"

Ashe ran forward, looking back only once to see Serenity being forced to pause.

"Oh now you're going to pay"

Ashe raised her blade and struck the spirit in what she asumed was it's chest. The Holy Mana coating her blade seemed to add to the pain of this creature.

"Serenity!" Janie shouted and ran in front of the acolyte trying to protect her.
She glared at the ghost and a white mist enveloped both Janie and the ghost. Where moments later the mist began to disperse and join with the ghost's body. And now the ghost's face began to twist into an even more grotesque form than before.
"Don't hurt Serenity!" Janie shouted.

Ashe followed the spirit, she would make sure it payed for hurting Janie. She ran up to the final bookshelf and stopped, looking past to see if the spirits were over there. They weren't in her sight, but she knew they couldn't have gotten very far.

Serenity hummed under her breath as she waited, watching the spirits move. After a moment, she tried to move her hands. It worked.

"Ah, there we go," she murmured, smiling. She bent down and picked up her staff. The Acolyte brushed off any dust that had gotten on it before looking over at Janie. She wasn't sure as to what happened but it seemed the child had been hurt.

When her staff through her fingers once more, Serenity knew she had been disabled once more. While others would have been irritated by this fact, Serenity just laughed, smiled and hummed again under her breath. She would just have to wait until it wore off again. She could do that.

The ghost screeched like an injured animal when it was struck and slowly began to fade. The spirits roaming the library all lew back into the pages of the books they were resting in and the library became silent again, all except a lone set of footsteps coming from even deeper in the huge dark library.
"Owie...it hurts Serenity..." Janie said rubbing her wounds and crying slightly.

Serenity blinked, looking over at Janie. She stared before laughing softly, making her way over to the girl. The Acolyte pat the girl soothingly on the head, smiling reassuringly.

"Don't worry, Janie," she cooed, bending down to her level. "Here, I'll make all the pain go away." Serenity hummed as she began to cast her Cure spell, letting it fall upon the small girl and watched as it healed all her wounds. "See?"

Janie looked at Serenity and gave her a warm smile wiping her tears away with her arm. She'd have to play innocent for now in front of the group if she wanted them to help her.
"Th-Thanks Serenity..." Jane said looking away and blushing slightly, even she was a bit embarrased to act so clingy to someone.

She grabbed Serenity by the arm and attempted to tug her toward the back of the library where the footsteps and quiet breathing was coming from.
