Unforgivable Sin: The Seven Sinners

In the land of Menitiros there was an old legend. It spoke of four heavenly creatures each representing an element and a direction. There was the Azure Dragon, creature of the East and the wind. Creature of the South and fire was the Scarlet Phoenix. Creature of the West and the earth was the White Tiger. And finally the creature of the North and water was the Black Tortoise. Every a hundred years, a child is chosen at the time of their birth by each the four heavenly creatures to pass on their abilities, and legend has it that if the four chosen by the heavenly creatures are all brought together to a certain location, the creature representing the center and element of the void, sky, and heaven would be summoned.

The legend described the creature of the center was a majestic white being with a human-like figure. The being had white feathered wings and silver hair cascading like a waterfall down to its waist. But no one has ever actually seen the creature of the center for the prophecy had never been fulfilled.

Menitiros has seen better days, but not much better. Lately there have been an infamous group of seven that had gotten their own nicknames, "The Seven Sinners". They were looked down upon and hated, but like everyone else, they had their own reasons of doing what they did.

The group had all been gathered by an invitation telling them to come to a secluded part of a large dense forest. The invitation was signed by someone named “Pride”, yet this mysterious man had not shown himself at all.

When the group entered a clearing, a small pack of wolves leaped out of the cover of the surrounding trees and snarled, the group seemed to have to kill them to move forward.

With the beasts already blocking their way through the forest, Hikari had no choice other than unsheathe her dagger -brown rust covering about half the blade- and quickly took her battle position. This would rather be easy...

"Oh joy," Jacob said lamely as the small pack of wolves made their presence known. The dark skinned archer, or Artemis to be precise, pulled his bow from its place against his back. He snapped the string a few time before drawing an arrow. He twirled it lightly, a lock of his white hair falling over an eye.
"Since I doubt they'll let us pass if we ask nicely," he notched the arrow, "we just might have to get a little rough."

[ Wakuwo starts at H6 ]

Wakuwo peered out into the clearing, an unsatisfied look was affixed to her face. There was fighting already to be had? She didn't like killing when it had no point, but if it was to protect herself, she'd have to do anything. The forest-dwelling girl clutched her leaf blade, ready to take on the beasts.

Diana starts at I4!

Diana noticed the wolves and smirked, this would be very interesting. The sphere of mana that floated around her halted. She pointed at the wolves and it bounced up and down a bit. Suddenly It turned a bloody crimson color, Diana was ready for battle.

"Save one for me. One of them will make a fine pet."

Diana noticed one of the wolves in the corner. Knowing it would probably be the most interesting, she moved. As she got a better view of it, her orb followed her rapidly, slowly cooling to it's usual white color. A smile appeared on the girl's face and suffenly the orb grew.

"Come to me my Pet."

Diana pointed at the lone wolf and watched as her expanded orb raced towards it. Suddenly it enveloped the wolf, capturing every detail, every trait. The white color around it changed to match the Wolf's. And when it seemed like the Wolf would disappear in the orb, it cooled once more. It left the wolf's body.

Drawing back on the arrow, he took careful aim be for letting the shaft loose. It whizzed from the bow and lodged firmly in the wolves shoulder. He nodded, satisfied and drew another arrow.

The orb floated back over to her and began to sway. She knew that her usefulness in this battle was over. Sitting down in the corner of the area, she watched the battle. Diana stood, her Orb glowing a violent crimson again. She moved away from the beast quickly. Then, pointing at her "Pet", the orb reacted. It shot at the wolf and enveloped it. Sounds of painful whimpers were heard from inside the orb. As it moved away, the color faded back to white.

Diana wiped the blood off of her arm, her eyes flaring violently. Her orb started to turn a deathly black, pulsing slowly. She merely pointed at the creature before her. Her orb let out a shockwave before bursting forward straight for the wolf. Diana's eyes watched as the orb tackled the beast and enveloped it. Sounds of screaming, bones breaking, pure terror echoed from the obsidian orb.

When it moved away, the wolf was seen limp, and seemingly lifeless, but it was able to stand once more. Diana pointed her finger at the overgrown dog. Her eyes still filled with hate.

"Now attack me again and I'll have you slaughtered!"
