Clara knew she was out of energy and knew she would be no help without it. But using an item would be even worse for right now. She quickly slammed on a Ti and Do in three different places. The notes were like nails on a chalkboard.

Chris had another bomb at the ready. Noticing at once that Clara had been killed off by one of the creatures. She wanted to run to her aid, but couldn't. Sighing she emptied the bomb and watched the energy float. She dropped the bomb shell and raised into the air. A burst of energy went towards all foes.

As the last Heartless disappeared into darkness, Alice approached the worn out party. "Was that honestly the best you guys had?" she asked with utmost seriousness. Her crimson eyes scanned the weary warriors of light "Those were some of the weakest Heartless and you expect to save the universe like that? I cannot comprehend why you all would travel such a meaningless path. You think the light is guiding you, but the light is only a brighter kind of darkness. It is a darkness you will either be consumed or destroyed by. The path will always remain open for you." She waved her hand and a corridor of darkness appeared. "Drakna is not evil. He is not some ruthless villain. He would welcome you with open arms, for he had done the same with Aruu.....and for me." She looked down to the ground, her face struggling to maintain her nonchalant demeanor.

Trinity drowzily staggered up. She didn't have the strength to summon her keyblade. "W-we..... ... ... go.... ... with...... ... ... light... ... ...," she started gasping for breath and fell to her knees; she couldn't complete her sentence. Kazega rushed over to her and held her tight. From the depths of her kimono, she procured an emergency potion and forced the liquid down Trinity's throat.

Chris was at Clara's side, crushed Life Crystal dust already placed on the girl's body. She looked down at the Organist and felt a strange sense of change. It was as if she had a different aura to her, like she was different.

Clara opened her eyes, feeling somehow completely revitalized. She got to her feet and smiled. Her mood quickly changed as she overheard Alice. She walked over to the Card Dealer, Chris at her side.

"You've lost it. Now leave. No one wants you here!"

With that Clara turned to leave, moving to join Kazega and Trinity.

Alice's expression didn't change. "I have lost nothing." Trinity's mouth fell open as she saw a smile flash across the card dealer's face, but then quickly vanish. She almost thought she hadn't seen anything. "You have not fought me, so I see no reason why I have lost. And you only barely survived that battle. What lies ahead of you in the near future, do you think? Brilliant light ready to overcome the darkness? A fairy tale. That is all your ideals are based upon." She raised a hand sending a few cards out to fly around Clara's feet, tripping her and sending her to the ground.

Trinity's eyes flared to life for once. The keyblade flashed into existence and she broke away from Kazega's embrace. "Enough is enough. You can only say you haven't lost because you haven't fought. You're cowardly weakling and I will prove it!" She rushed up to Alice with her weapon at the ready. "Prepare yourself," she muttered as she got close.

As Trinity tried to bash Alice with her keyblade, Alice leapt back and sent a few cards flying at Trinity's direction, but Trinity countered by incinerating the cards with a Fire spell which she quickly followed up with a feign Blizzard spell. The sphere of ice shot forth and Alice leapt into the air to dodge it only to get hit by Trinity's Thunder spell. A giant card appeared over Alice and blocked the lightning bolt that threatened to electricute her.

"Your skills are quite good. Every move you make is calculated to not be wasteful." She drew what looked like a diamond in the air. "But I am afraid your efforts have come to not." She looked down at the ground. "Diamond."

Kazega's eyes opened wide. "Trinity, NOOOOO!!" She hurled one of her fans at Alice, but the card dealer merely summoned a large card to deflect the attack.

The party watched as Trinity was about to make another attack, only to be stopped in her tracks. There was a flash of light and a glowing white glyph of a simple diamond was in front of Alice. Trinity tried to move her feet, only to realize that they were encased in diamond. Alice held out her hand. "I am no sadist and wish to release your friend. I only request the answering of one question. Who has truly lost? Answer wisely." She lowered her hand and the diamond began crawling up Trinity's legs. The helpless keyblade wielder bashed at the diamond with her weapon, but it was useless.

Clara fell to the ground, but Chris helped her to her feet in seconds. The Pianist looked at the Card Dealer and was about to just fight her. But Chris held her back as Trinity began her assault. As the Card Dealer spoke Diamond she ripped herself from the Psychic's Arms and ran towards Trinity.

"Leave her a-"

But it was useless, she was left staring at Trinity. She looked at the Card Dealer with pure hate, wishing to send her to Hell. She belonged there, but there was no way to fight this.

"... No one has lost... No one has won..."

Her words however were nothing but a whisper. Her words were inaudible to everyone else.

Alice nodded simply and snapped her fingers. Trinity fell to the ground and she felt Alice's intense gaze upon her. "Your allegiance to the light has made you all weak. If you seek power and life instead of weakness and death, I will always be watching from the darkness." With that, she marched into her dark corridor and disappeared. However, one last statement permeated the air. "And be careful; this cemetery holds more suprises than you think."

Then silence.

Trinity stood up and sent her keyblade away. "I am sorry everyone," she said, her voice slightly depressed. "I wasn't strong enough." Here, her voice became empowered. "But I know there is power in the light! That girl is wrong. The path of darkness has made her blind to the truth. She must be so lonely there...." Her voice faltered suddenly.

Kazega approached her. "Shall we go, everyone? The sooner we get out of this graveyard, the better, correct?" She gestured down the path they had been traveling all along.

"Trinity is right, she is wrong."

Clara made a weak smile, but it faded as she thought about the darkness. There was no way the woman could be right. She knew it was wrong, Darkness couldn't trump light. She even had an old story that she faintly remembered. She remembered something about Light always being there to guide you. But her memory of it was broken as she heard Ryas.

"If you wish, but it will come up again..."

"Come... we can't linger here..."

Wishing to leave the cemetary, the party pressed ever onward until they reached a very large clearing with sparse amounts of trees and tombstones scattered helter skelter across the area. At the far end of the clearing as the large opening of the Dragonscar Passage. Without realizing it, the party had reached the Dragonscar Mountain Range and was about to traverse through the highest peak of the range via a carved out passageway plenty of meters wide and tall.

However, before they could progress, the area grew dark and a thin fog filtered through the air. The earth rumbled suddenly and from the fog appeared...a pumpkin carriage.

Trinity stepped forward. "W-what is--" Her sentence was cut off as the object burst to life. Upon it was a strange emblem, one with two weird patterns in the form of an "X" that displayed a heart through the negative space of the insignia. Vines whipped about randomly and it rolled back and forth, ready for battle. There was no reaching the passage without defeating this new enemy first.

Trinity was startled by the appearance of this strange creature. It reminded her instantly of a Heartless, but it was...different. Regardless, she would take it down. She summoned her keyblade and prepared for battle.

"I've got your back, Trinity," Kazega said as she took her position. "I will make sure you will not die this time." She took out her fans and pointed one at the monster as a gesture that it would fall soon.

Clara was filled with new energy as the creature appeared. She ran to a nearby area with a tombstone. She was unafraid of this creature, and felt rather powerful against it. Her organ appeared and she sat to play, her fingers gliding across the keys.

"Let's finish this!"

Chris starts in J9!

Chris reached into her bag and had a bomb shell ready. She was through with fighting these things. She took position and readied to fight the creature.

"Lets..."

Energy started to gather as she aimed.

Unsure of what this new, strange creature was capable of, Trinity decided to hold her ground. "Be careful everyone! We have no idea what we're facing!" she cautioned her friends. She thought back to the 'suprises' Alice mentioned. It seems the graveyard was holding a major one right here.

Kazega nodded her head and stood her ground with fans at the ready. However, she would go ahead and strengthen herself while waiting.

Chris put away her bomb shell, knowing she was way out of range. She moved nearby two tombstones. Looking at the strange creature. It was a carriage, that looked like a pumpkin. It was more than strange, there wasn't a word for it. She continued to study it, looking for a weakness.

Clara looked at the Carriage, getting a feeling it could easily take her out. She knew her trees wouldn't be alot of protection, but it would be better than nothing. She began her tune and watched Trees rise up from the ground. She was protected for now.

The monster's wheels began to spin rapidly as it moved slightly closer causing dirt to be sent flying through the air behind it. It's hollow, black eyes focused on Tenkai. Suddenly, it was rolling right for her. With the move being so sudden, it was able to gain much ground fairly quickly and it ended up running right over Tenkai. It didn't wait around though, for it rolled back to its original position in reverse.

Seeing the sheer power the monster exhibited through its attack on Tenkai, Trinity knew that she would be decimated in seconds. "My god....," she uttered. "I can't do it." She lowered her keyblade.

Kazega watched as a horrid realization dawned on her friend. "Trinity, step back," she said. "I will protect you no matter what. You don't have to rush into battle to win. Stay back here and support us, okay?" Her voice was gentle, but a strange nobility was expressed in it. With no hesitation, she rushed forward and ferociously tossed her fans at the monster.

Kazega moves to F6.

Trinity stared at the ground as Kazega rushed past her. "I want to believe I can do something. The light....can it truly save us this time?" Thoughts concerning the powers of darkness arose in her mind and she thought back to the battle with Aruu. He was so strong....surely he could have beaten me one-on-one. We had him outnumbered, and his weak Heartless didn't help him much either.... As she thought, she ended up backing up.

Chris was shocked at how the carriage had easily attacked and returned to it's position. She knew Tenkai would survive, but if she tried that stunt, she would obviously die. She ran back to her original position, hoping the creature didn't notice her.

Clara's fingers stopped as the strange carriage attacked Tenkai mercilessly. She shook it off, knowing it would be fine for right now and that the group would need a little help. She played a strange song that sounded somehow popular.

"Kazega! Get behind me!" The words spurted out of her mouth as she ran forward. She realized that there was no time to think about light and darkness and questioning her own strength. All that mattered was the safety of her friends.

In obvious distress, Kazega zipped through the tall grasses, bouncing off the heads of various insects along the way. Even if she spoke, no one would be able to hear her. She just went back to her starting position and hoped the spell wasn't permanent.
