As the final creatures were decimated, August sat down hard on the ground, his staff disappearing back into a thin trickle of mist that swirled about him very slowly. He and the others had been thrust into a land that was apparently quite hostile; they had experienced too much too quickly. August didn't even know who any of these people were. He decided to speak up. "Um, hey everyone. I'm August. August Chambers. I'm.....glad to actually meet you guys. Thanks for having my back and stuff," he spoke up uneasily. Everyone seemed carefree enough, but he still couldn't help but to be a bit intimidated.

Other than him speaking, the forest was quite silent now. There seemed to be no more threat of monsters at the moment, but there were sure to be more lurking somewhere. But they were safe for now, and that was all that mattered.

Aryn nodded to August. "Aye, pleased to meet you. As I said before, my name is Aryn, Aryn Sonata. I am a Knight of the Holy Order." She was cleaning her blade as she said this, and after finishing, sheathed it.

The knight looked at the gathered group. They certainly seemed to be a ragtag party, but they fought well together, and Aryn was satisfied with that. As of yet, she did not know much of their intentions, but with time perhaps she would learn more.

"HI, hi," Loki smiled. "My name is Loki Mathews. Nice to meet you." He tugged his gloves off with his teeth. Pocketing then as soon as he had them off. He waved somewhat dismissively at his garb as he did.

"Apparently I'm supposed to be a butler," he grinned. "So I guess I'll be at your service."

August smiled. "I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be exactly," he admitted sheepishly. "Though, I remember one of those guards calling me....ah, what was it?" He scratched his head for a minute, trying desperately to remember. "Aha! He had said that I was a 'dreamweaver' or something. I'm not too sure what that's supposed to be exactly though," he expressed sullenly. "What do you guys make of all this?" he asked, his arms outstretched, gesturing to the surrounding wilderness.

"I've been called many things. So many that my real name is of no importance anymore. If you must call me anything, 'Pride' will do." Ling said, "Pleased to meet you."

Ling said nothing more, for he had no care for the well being of the rest of the group. So why should he try to socialize and befriend with them when he was just going to watch them die without any emotions at all?

His self growing again in the adequate human proportion, Solo approached the meeting group. Though he didn't like introductions nor interaction with other people who might interrupt his lonely ways of executing things, this was inevitable...
"I'm Solo Spade... Pleased to meet you all." He said, making himself known between the constant chatter. "Though the circumstances seem to be very unfitting."

August looked at her, and then gazed at the thin mist that was swirling around him. "Creating your own dreams," he repeated and held out his hand. In his mind, he pictured the sword he had used earlier. The mist began to spin and gather in his hand. There was a short flash of light and the sword was there in his hand. He waved it around a bit. "I imagined that I might have this power, but....it seemed so out there. But here it is." He thought of his staff and the mist responded as he expected it to. There was a staff in his hands in place of the sword after another short flash of light. "What does this mean, though? Am I special or something?" August stood up. "We're not going to get any answers here, I'm afraid," he concluded sullenly. "Shall we see if we can find some civilization?" With that, he began trekking along the path leading away from the staircase.

"If that is what you want," Loki smiled agreeably. He followed slightly behind Layla. He straightened his jacket as he did, then started musing out loud. "I wonder what kind of civilization this dream land will have? And I wonder if they will have any good tea? They might have some interesting recipes too..."

With introductions made and many questions left to answer, the party delves deeper into the wood...

Meanwhile...

The sound of the girl's boots were muffled by the soft ground of the Enchanted Wood. Of course, even if they had made a sound, the creatures still would have ran from the aura that surrounded her. As she walked through the forest, the black and purple aura lashed out a nearby things, causing them to undergo slight changes. Black and purple markings would appear on trees and other plants, and a slight aura would appear around them as well. The girl's face was sullen. "When will it all just end? When will we get our power?" she asked aloud to no one in particular. "Watching this transformation is rather depressing. Everything will be tainted with nightmare eventually. But how long will we have to wait?" She sighed and continued to make her way through the wood, leaving terror in her wake.

The party was making quite a bit of progress when the bushes started rustling. A bell started ringing as a makeshift alarm and several of the small, fuzzy creatures from earlier stepped out. Two had swords, but another two had staves, and the last one had a bow with a quiver full of arrows on its back. They chattered excitedly and had a hungry look in their eyes. One whistled and a large growl came from somewhere else in the forest. The party didn't even get a chance to think about it though, for the little things attacked without hesitation.

Loki sighed heavily as the Zoogs surged from the forest. He was really beginning to dislike the little things. At worse, some of them carried staffs and one had a bow. It looked like he would have to do a little cleaning up around the place. He tugged his gloves on with a sigh.

Aria drifted to the edge of the battlefield. Behind the trees, she noticed a bag similar to the one she had piccked up before. But the trees in the way would create difficulty. If she could call upon a stronger attack, maybe, just maybe she could grab the bag and be back before she could be attacked.

After closing his eyes, August concentrated on forming a sword in his outstretched hand. There was a flash that penetrated his closed eyelids and when he opened his eyes, the sword was there. He slashed the air twice and smirked at the enemy creatures. "These guys won't yield as easily as the others. I'm sure we can still take them down though," August called out in encouragement to his allies.

August waits.

Loki wasted no time. He charged the closest sword-wielding enemy to him and snapped his fingers, hitting it with a blast of air. "Though we many be traveling through your so-called territory, you could asked us to leave politely instead of attacking."

Ling moves to cell F-6

"Does it really seem like you can reason with them?" Ling asked then added under his breath, "Those things probably have less brain cells than Gluttony."

Ling ran toward the creatures with his shadow sneaking behind it. He disappeared and reappeared from his shadow, stabbing the creature multiple times.

Ling uses Backstab on Klecana. 9 ATK Dmg per hit, 5 hits

And of course, Ling's shadow had to join the fray and dealt the finishing blow to the creature.
