"What am I doing up here with the rest of you again? Ah, yes. I must retreat for efficiency," Altima muttered to herself and scurried back. Seeing that she was at a great position, she took the time to raise her hand and assault the mind of Sakurako with darkness. "Time for you to become lost in the Void, but never fear; it's better than to be there and stay there than it is to be there and escape." She smiled thinking of her wonderful time in the Void...but then realized there was nothing to remember.

When I was young, we didn't get attacked at every random turn! People were much nicer, very polite, back then. They would never attack an old man like me!"

Sakurako shrugged off the damage she took. Purposefully, she moved closer to the group and smiled coldly. "Here's a lesson in fighting- the weak are targeted first!" She quickly fired her guns at grandpa Joe. "Even if they are children or elderly." Sakurako scowled and pointed her guns at Armanthia. "Don't think I forgot about your little trick girl. Your are next on my hit list."

Rika moves to E3. Rika cast Grave Raid on Vector! 14 dmg, dark element!
"Hey!" Rika yelled at Vector as he moved behind the statues. "Where do you thing you're going?" She ran closer to him and raised her hands into the air. Black and red aura engulfed them and she slammed then down onto the ground. Red light shone through cracks that appeared on the stone slabs of the ground, and the cracks rapidly extended towards Vector. The cracks clumped together just behind him and an ornate red coffin with silver edges and patterns burst out. The cover of the coffin opened like a pair of doors and numerous skeletal hands reached out of the blackness and dragged Vector in. His screams filled the courtyard as the coffin sank back into the ground, a pillar of red light depositing Vector back were he was a few seconds later.

Armanthia's laughter burst, echoing through the area. Her string bounced up and down rapidly with her laughter. She did her best to move away, her strings still bouncing, and her laughter still echoing. When she came to a stop, her strings attacked again, sinking into her opponet's skin and forcing her to stay under Armanthia's control.

Seeing that Joe was in grave danger, she focused on him for the time being. Forgetting about everything else was easy for her. "It's okay, Grandpa Joe," she said kindly and raised her hand at him. "Just forget your pain. If you do that, you'll be just fine." At that moment, the air seemed to shimmer as some extradimensional energy seeped into the area and swam through the air towards the old man. It entered into his ears and covered his nerves, voiding some of the pain he was feeling.

Feeling much better, Grandpa Joe turned to Altima with a smile.

"Thank you kindly, young lady," he said, bowing his head in thanks. "Oh, if only there were more kind people like you. Sadly, the world has turned for the worse." He sighed, shaking his head sadly. Suddenly, Grandpa Joe turned to the ones that had struck him and he started shouting.

"You little brat! Hasn't anyone told you to respect your elders?! Come here so I can teach you some respect! Why, I oughta spank ya!"

[Grandpa Joe] moves to [G-6].

Seeing as how the girl with the strings had ended up moving the little brat, Grandpa Joe grumbled to himself, slamming his cane against the ground.

With his increased force by the aid of Shift, he skillfully twirled the Dual Blade before setting it on a lacerating position. Before Rika could possibly react, he stabbed her in the stomach and slashed her chest in a horizontal manner.

Seeing that the young puppermaster was in the same critical situation Grandpa had been in, she immediately called upon the Void to seep into the air, the thick strands of Void energy swimming slowly through the air until they ended up slithering into Armanthia's ears and entered her brain. Once there, the energy performed its work and made her forget most of the pain she had been feeling. "Be a bit more careful, Armanthia," Altima advised. Then again, why should she be careful again? Was there any danger? That's right! There was the chick with the gun! She almost forgot, and she ended up laughing slightly at the fact.

Altima waits.

Chillwhisper knew that she couldn't really be much of help since the female seemed to avoid being encased in her ice no matter how many times she tried, but she could still at least injure her a bit. Chillwhisper conjured another block of ice to encase Sakurako.

Kai swallowed nervously as the raider's muscles bulged. He swore he could even see steam coming off them. But he wasn't about to let that sway his resolve. He scowled and yelled to himself as her aimed other blow to her back, slamming her with a loud smack. He stayed were he was, not wasting the effort to move. With her guns, she could still hit him even if he did retreat.

Altima moves to I5.

Quickly alarmed, Altima took a step forward out of instinct and raised her hand. Her dim sphere of light followed her hand. With a few quick hand movements, she commanded the sphere to crash into the raider's head a couple of times before ramming into her stomach. It was only after that attack that she remembered that Armanthia had blown her a kiss and she blushed slightly.

With the fall of Sakurako, the battle was finally over. Kai stood still for a moment before glancing around at the others. He felt somewhat empty inside, as if the battle was rather pointless. He sighed and poked the fallen guild leader. "Am I the only one that thinks this whole thing was pointless?" he asked.

"It wasn't!" a voice piped up, causing him to jump. Rika sat leaning against one of the statues, a half empty bottle in her hand. She grinned and downed the rest of it.

"Ho...how?" Kai started.

'Mana juice," she answered, waving the bottle at him. She stood with a grunt, walked past him and poured the contents of another bottle into Sakurako's mouth. "Now before you start attack us again," she said, waving Kai back, "You pass!" she pulled a little paper horn form her blouse and tucked the string, letting out a puff of confetti.

"Huh?"

"I mean, the snotlings in the temple, the fights against us, I was all a mix of a test and training from The Meddler!" Rika smiled cutely a them. Sakurako pushed her aside and rose unsteadily to her feet.

"It is as my sister says," she said. "Let me formally introduce ourselves. I am Sakurako Himlet and this is Rika Himlet. We are the guides provided by The Meddler."

"Nice to meet you!" Rika smiled.
