Lily's brow immediately furrowed when she heard what Valincar had said. Leader? Him? Lily never remembered voting on that, nor did she expect there to be any one leader in the group. There was no one they had to 'report to' if they wanted to do something on their own. By Lily's standards, anyone could leave the party at any time they wanted to, since there was no official leader of the group. Lily leaned over towards Lyra, "One thing that I do not like, is the mention of any 'leader' in this group." She muttered, "I never voted on it, and it was never proclaimed by anyone. However, if someone is declared the leader, I'll leave. I don't mind working in groups, but I don't like taking orders from people just as powerful as myself."

Lyra shrugged. "I couldn't care less whether there was a leader or not. Anyone can tell you what to do, but whether you do it or not is up to you. Apparently, this phantom's words are a bit more important than your own...or anyone else's, for that matter. But that's it. Has he made the decisions in the past? I'm guessing not since you're still here. There are leaders in terms of strength and agreement, like your actual guildmaster, K. Then there are leaders in diplomacy like this phantom here. He doesn't tell anyone what to do, but he seems to speak for the whole group--represent the collective. When all of you agree on something, he then tells the decision to whoever may be listening." The enchantress gave a slight chuckle. "That's merely how I see it. You're still here right? Seems like there's no leader." With that, she started floating on down the path back to Visterre. "Hurry up, slowpokes! Follow the leader!!"
And thus the little adventure was complete. The small group fought there way back through the jungle and reached Visterre to reunite with their other fellow guild members. The enchantress introduced herself to the others, even going as far as to announce that she was one of the kidnappers. It wasn't like she cared. Regardless, the party rested for a day. However, the next day held something horrible...
As the group stepped out of the inn, they noticed that the air was distorted, polychromatic tendrils snaking their way through trees and around buildings. The townspeople were wandering about crazily, some yelling and shouting nonsense while others remained eerily quiet and rocked back in forth in the darkest corners. Something was wrong. That's when one of K's confidantes dashed towards them. "Porta...Perdidos...," he managed between breaths. He took a couple of minutes and stood straight, his breathing back to normal. "Remember that request you guys took a little while ago? The one about the strange happenings at Porta Perdidos? Well, as you can see, the problem has spread. We need you guys to hit that problem hard. Right now." Without waiting for a response, the man dashed off to aid some of the afflicted townspeople.
There wasn't much left to do but to visit the port town and see what was going on. The group headed southeast through the jungle and crossed the slight area of grasslands beyond that until they could smell the aroma of the sea. Though the smell was great, the sight was not. Even from a distance, the group could tell that something was wrong. The whole town of Porta Perdidos seemed to be surrounded in a multi-colored dome of spiritual energy--an energy different from that of mana. Inside the dome, people were running around in fright...running from monsters that seemed to be ravaging the town. Quickly, the team rushed into town and down to the harbor where most of the trouble seemed to be brewing. Several strange creatures stood near the docks: they were short things with long, skinny arms and large hands with immense claws on them. Their bodies were rather thin and unslightly and their legs seemed very fragile. Hiding not too far away were two hovering crystals: one violet and one black. They seemed to be part of the problem for they were emanating some of the strange energies.
The creatures didn't seem too fond of the party's interference. They growled and hissed at them, their claws scratching the stone street leading to the docks. It was time for a showdown.

Sonia was unsure of so many things right now. One, if she wanted to risk going out to the front lines. And Two, if she wanted to risk using her damaging attacks. She didn't know if her foes would take any damage. Slowly deciding to stick back and help through restorative means, she preped her first, and obvious spell.

Shadow starts at H1.
Those abnormalities seemed dangerous, specially with the humongous claws that were being dragged as they walked. An attack with such weapons would obviously result fatal, adding the fact the Psycho Claws and Tranquil Claws seemed to be very swift in movement. With that in mind, Shadow chose to stay in the back row for some time, until both kinds of clawed enemies decided to advance and attack. Those ominous crystals that were emanating the polychromatic chaos seemed strange, too.

These things seemed, special, to say the least. With those claws though Zero was glad she had her ability to protect herself, but maybe sticking a bit close to someone so she could have a person to watch her back wouldn't be a bad idea. Zero didn't want to take any chances with these things.

This insanity reminded her of her time with the twins and their little friend. The twins had been fine, it was the other one that had been the problem. At least, she had some experience with the crazies. Rosetta cautiously brought herself into a defensive position.

The ground shook slightly and Rock Doll emerged from the street, stones and earth scattered about the immediate area. The monster stood in front of Valincar, ready to defend him.

She kept glaring at it, more and more poison building up inside of it. Finally, she blinked, but quickly snapped her fingers, the creature suddenly becoming enveloped in a green cloud. It was meant to shrink the creature, but there was no telling what would actually happen. "Wow. I hope I didn't mess that thing up too bad," she said aloud with a slight chuckle.

These looked to be a nuisance. Rosetta flicked her eyes over the harbor, checking for anything else that was harmful. It was just them and the strange creatures it seemed. Hopefully, this wouldn't take too much time. She didn't like the idea of staying near the harbor any longer than she had to.

Lily finally snapped out of her reverie and pulled her bow out the large quiver on her back. Calmly stringing the bow, Lily began pouring a massive amount of mana into the bow, then harnessing her own emotions and causing them to flow throughout her body, giving her twice as much power than before.

Rosetta instantly felt her mind become muddled and clutched her head, gritting her teeth. She forced herself to focus, trying to make out who and where her enemies were. Whatever the creature had done, it had confused her. She had to get her mind under control before she ended up attacking her own allies.
Rosetta breathed out slowly, mind clearing just enough so that she could make out the creature that had caused the ailment just in front of her. It would pay dearly.

Fire flared as she lashed out at the creature, striking it three times with the intent of burning it. It would know pain.

Lily finally pulled her bow up and aimed it at one of the floating creatures in the back. She decided that, since the others were busy taking care of the enemies in front, she would handle the enemies in the back. Lily only hoped she had enough energy to take both out.
But then, Lily noticed that one of the enemies had increased their power to huge levels, which was not good. Rosetta had taken care of most of it's stamina, but it was still standing. That needed to be fixed. Lily switched her target to this enemy now, pulling back the string on her bow and firing it. The arrow turned into lightning before piercing through the creature's chest.
Lily used Thundering Dart on Nazrea! 34 Piercing ATK Lightning DMG! (8 MP)
