Yes Windy's willing to try this again...ara...XD

“Wonder if the place is getting any new posts...ara...” murmured Windy-tan as he opened his internet browser to the Eternal Dream forum.

The first thing he saw was that the Events section had a new post in it, and when he opened the topic his computer screen flashed blue for a moment and turned pitch black. Windy-tan waited for a moment to see if he just pressed a wrong button to open another program or something but the only thing that appeared was a pale red symbol of some sort that slightly resembled an eye.


Within a minute of the symbol appearing, Windy-tan’s cells were broken down into data and transferred into the Eternal Dream database, then rebuilt. He was trapped in Eternal Dream.

The same thing happened to another member, having his computer screen become black and the symbol appearing on their screen, then trapped in the forum as cyberspace alternatives of themselves.

Silver, PM Windy the app...ara...~

The boy that was sucked into Eternal Dream were materialized in front of a large 5-story building. The door had been smashed and left wide open, with black slimy trails leading into the building. A voice came from the building, it sounded feminine and metallic.

“Targets detected, threat level low. Assimilate, oido!”

When the boy took a few steps into the building, he saw three strange slime-like creatures. The thing odd about them was that they were black, with a horn on their head and each with their eyes replaced by a symbol, the same one that appeared on the computer screen. And on the other side of the room where multiple of doors were placed, stood a girl around her early teens. She had light blue hair and a slender build, she looked helpless. But she didn’t look so helpless anymore when her right arm unfolded to reveal machine parts reconnecting while the hand became into a claw twice the size of her hand. The girl grabbed the head of one of the creatures in front of her, lifting it up and electricity surged through the body of the poor creature. In moments the creature became a digital outline then exploded into a multitude of 0’s and 1’s.

This was so aggravating! The Mana Adept could have sworn that he had just been looking at his computer screen looking through the posts when suddenly this happened. And the worst part of it was that it was so familiar, exactly like something he had been reading before this happened. Waving his hands like a spazz, he tried to get the other human... er humanoid creature's attention.

"What the? Hey! You there! What the hell is going on here?"

The robotic girl seemed to not notice the boy, instead her eyes was fixed on one of the slimes.

Silver took a couple of steps forward hesitantly, realizing that waving and shouting wasn't gonna get the girl's attention. Stopping short, he looked over at the blobs that could easily surround him now. That was a worry for him, especially since the girl had been attacking them. What if they thought he was with her and they went for him? Moving even faster, he dashed over to another spot and stopped, thinking this was a good enough spot to try and get the girl's attention.

"Excuse me. Can you please tell me what the hell is going on here?"

Silver had no time to react as the bullet came flying at him, lodging itself nicely in his leg. And as if that wasn't enough, the blobs of whatever the hell they were tackled him. This was fucking insane! Why was this happening to him? Getting to his feet, he stormed over to the girl and let loose a short stream of curses, a sudden energy building around him.

"WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? DO YOU JUST GO AROUND SHOOTING AT RANDOM PEOPLE? AND WHILE I AM ASKING, WHERE THE HELL AM I?"

The two blobs snuck up on him and struck again, causing the boy to grimace in pain and run behind the girl. Damn it hurt a lot now, he wasn't sure how much longer he had left before he passed out. Taking a couple deep breaths, he spoke again to the girl.

"I... I... never mind how I got here... I... I go by... SilverStorm on Eternal Dream. And... oh god this hurts... if... if only I could fight... I'm... I'm not much of a physical person..."

When he said fight, Silver didn't even realize a ball of the energy that had flared up before descending on one of the blobs. Soon enough it crashed into the thing, a small flash going off before it was like nothing happened.

With a sudden new found confidence, Silver pointed at the goop that Kuori attacked. At first, nothing, but as he continued to point and focus with all of his might, he saw results. Suddenly another ball of mana began to shift into existence. And it didn't take long for it to descend, and explode upon the goop.

"Phew. Those... those things... what the heck were they? And... if we really are in Eternal Dream, what are they doing here?"

With the enemies defeated, and the place seemingly safe for now, Silver felt relief. Even with the strangeness of the entire situation, and how impossible it seemed, he felt calm. So what if he was in Eternal Dream? And so what if there had been misunderstandings at first? Things were sure to return to normal... right?

"Those things were viruses, in cyberspace they can take many forms, and they were just a few of the ones running rampant in this building." Kuori answered, "We were called here by someone, and I expect that we'll find the one who has summoned us in this building."

And with that Kuori continued on deeper into the building, not even looking back to see if Silver would follow, she was sure the boy would. After all, they probably weren't going to get out of cyberspace if they didn't answer to whoever it was that called them here.

"I... I guess that makes sense..."

The boy followed closely, not even bothering to be defiant or anything. If there were a bunch of viruses and other things around here, he didn't want to run into them alone. Especially since he couldn't have handled those things without Kuori. Sticking to her like glue, he looked left and right every so often, as if he was watching, waiting for something to strike.

After passing through a laboratory without seeing anything out of the ordinary, the group heard a faint noise through the halls. It seemed to be footsteps, very heavy footsteps. They seemed to be coming from somewhere very close, yet they were very quiet, as if whatever was making these footsteps was far away. It almost seemed like it was coming from beyond the-

CRASH!

A loud sound made Kuori stumble backwards into Silver, getting back up Kuori saw that a section of the wall had been broken down. And out from the hole came a large beast that resembled a bear, only that it had horns and all four legs were mechanical. It looked angry, and hungry.

The second Kuori stumbled back into him, he had been on the ground. As the thing came into sight, he seriously felt like something terribly wrong was going on. That... thing was so huge... and it looked like it could seriously rip the small duo apart.

"Uhh... never mind. J... just kill it!"

And the energy flared up once more.

As much as he didn't want to rush in and draw attention to himself, he needed to. This thing was dangerous and the only way it was gonna go down was if he helped out. Pointing at the large mechanical bear, a ball of mana raced down and slammed into the thing.

Against this bear, she would have to shield Silver, lest she wants to hear him whine about how much it hurt again. The boy acted as if he got shot in the leg or-...oh right, she did shoot him in the leg. But setting that aside for it's not important, what's important was killing this bear. Kuori walked past the boy and to the bear, although it was over twice her own size, the android jumped up and placed her hand on the bear's head, and immediatly electricity spread throughout the bear's body.

"Stay back, I'll take care of this on my own."

He was smirking. To think she had just told him to let her handle it and she was stuck, trapped underneath the bear thing before them. His smirk turned to a devious smile as he put a hand to his chin, silently laughing at her slight misfortune. But then he took pity on the girl, and pointed directly at the bear and slammed another orb into the creature once more.

He was having just a little too much fun with this rather... interesting situation. Nevertheless, Silver continued to bash orbs of mana into the bear in an attempt to faint it. If he could get it off of her, she could actually be of use in this fight.
