But this one was smaller than the others, like he was running out of energy to create balls of energy like that. Frowning slightly, he hoped that the battle would be over before it could come to that.

"Well. That was rather quick. I expected it to put up a bit more of a challenge."

Silver crossed his arms, as if he was pouting over the fact that it had been so easily defeated. In no way was he happy, but he was disappointed, considering how menacing it had been when it first attacked. Sighing he looked over at the android who had been pinned underneath the mechanical animal.

"You okay?"

"Yes yes, worry more about yourself. What would've happened if I decided to stay behind you?" Kuori snapped back.

Being pinned down under a giant half-mechanical bear would put anyone in a foul mood, and she was no different. Dusting herself off and kicking the beast once more for good measure, Kuori glanced at Silver and quietly muttered something to herself that no one else could hear. Whatever she had said, it wasn't pleasant.

"Well next time you're trapped, I'll just move on ahead then."

Silver shot back a slightly venomous remark. He figured Kuori wouldn't care, but whatever, that is what he would do. There was no way he was gonna help her after that... at least not for awhile. She was really proving to be a pain in the neck, damn, how could that be Kuori?

"Just let's get moving before another one comes and I have to go ahead without you."

Kuori narrowed her eyes at the boy, was he really talking back to someone who can just shoot him in an instant? Did he eat paint chips or something? Or maybe he's just born an idiot. But whatever the case, Kuori couldn't believe this guy was SilverStorm, the Silver she knew was an intellectual person with a bright personality, not this irritating brat with not even a grain of common sense that seems to want to irk her with every chance he gets.

"Listen kid, I don't care who you are. But I know you're not Silver, so watch your tongue lest you want to find yourself filled with more holes than swiss cheese." Kuori threatened.

Silver rolled his eyes and passed the girl claiming to be Kuori. He was hating this strange, twisted situation more and more with each passing second. Sending a mental glare at the girl, he continued further down the hallway, stopping for a second but not looking back. He then continued, an air of anger being left behind, he suddenly called back.

"You coming?"

"Yes yes, now shut up and let's go." Kuori replied, passing ther boy and choosing to ignore the thought of starting another argument with him.

A while later the two came upon a large metal door with a red sign on it, "Authorized Personel ONLY", judging from the fact that there were no other passages around and how suspicious the sign was, Kuori figured it was the place. She pushed open the gate, and stumbled into a large circular room. The room was very clean but dimly lit, from what light source there was Kuori could make out a large machine made of several computers connected together, a supercomputer, perhaps. And there was a humanoid shape of what seemed to be static that looked as if it was about to enter the supercomputer, but turned around as soon as it detected the group's presence. Its mouth moved but it said nothing, or maybe it did say something but the sound of the static drowned it out. As if it was the signal that a fight had started, a large oversized claymore of more static materialized in the thing's hands.

With a sigh she glanced over at the boy who had just made his point not to go near the thing, he needed to grow a spine and get up there. Of course, Kuori wasn't one to talk, sniping that thing from afar, but she was a hypocrite. And if Silver wouldn't go up there, she'll just run, she was pretty sure she could keep a good distance between her and this thing, not so sure about Silver though.

"There, I got its attention, now your turn." Kuori said, with a smirk as if she would enjoy watching this boy being pummeled.
