Janie ran toward Serenity after seeing her attacked and almost killed. She glared at the pumpkin and dropped the coffin she was carrying. It didn’t fall to the ground, instead the coffin floated a few inches above ground and the lid opened up. Chains extended out of the inside and wrapped themselves around Janie as she grabbed the pumpkin. The coffin seemed to enlarge as the chains retracted and pulled Janie and Yon into it, then the blades formed and stabbed in the coffin. A sound of something being squashed could be heard and when the coffin opened again, Janie stepped out, covered in pieces of pumpkin.

“Don’t break the pumpkins...take your rage out on the giant mutated one instead...” Janie said.

Seeing that it was the only one left and would likely fall to the multiple attacks that will be soon aimed at it, Zyuu decided to use its ‘trump card’. The abomination of a pumpkin rose its tentacle-like vines and countless pumpkins grew out from the vines, which was propelled into the air directly toward each member of the group at an insane speed. Wave after wave of pumpkins which all smashed directly onto everyone, and when Zyuu finally stopped the group was in pretty bad shape despite the fact that they were rejuvenated only moments ago.

Janie heard Elliot’s song and began to laugh slightly. It was, entertaining to say the least, seeing that the scientist could sing that while still keeping a straight face. She gathered the remains of the pumpkings, burying them in graves and using pumpkins as gravestones then running back to the group.
“That’s a cute song Elliot!” Janie said, “Anyways, should we go now? Before we’re ambushed again?”

"I agree..."

Ashe looked down at her blade, seeing her reflection mixed with pumpkin guts. She couldn't believe she had done so little damage, worse she had done nothing the entire time. She cleaned the blade and put it away angrily.

Janie nodded and grabbed Naomi’s arm in an attempt to drag her along with everyone else back to the cabin. But before Janie could take a step out of the pumpkin patch, she stopped upon hearing the sound of footsteps not far away. These footsteps sounded very heavy, much heavier than any human could make. This made her wonder a bit about who would be coming; she wouldn’t be exactly surprised by anything now since she already ran into a demon of all things. She looked back at the group and then back toward where the footsteps came from and was growing so closer.
“Should we go see what’s making that noise? Or should we go back to the cabin?” Janie asked curiously.

"Let's get to it then."

Ashe was still thinking over her lack of importance in that battle. She had done nothing but take a couple of hits. She looked towards the ground and waited to follow the others.

And so, the group walked deeper into the pumpkin field in search for the source of the footsteps. After a while they stopped at a rotting wooden fence, the end of the pumpkin patch. Yet the footsteps seemed to be coming from behind the group now, and they sounded so close too. Janie’s high-pitched scream caught everyone’s attention and when they looked toward the direction she was pointing, they saw a huge deformed tree that has taken a somewhat-humanoid shape. It had large purple leaves, yellow eyes that are only a bit larger than one of its leaves, and it seemed to have four tree trunks which acted as its arms and legs. The abomination of a tree took a few steps forward and swung the gargantuan battleaxe it had and barely missing Janie.

“Now Krok, don’t be so rude...we’ll need the girl alive anyways...” came a voice not far away.

A figure that was hidden in the shadows and was almost completely unnoticeable walked out of his hiding place. He looked a lot more human than Krok, around 17 years old aand dressed in dark blue clothes. He resembled Zero; the only difference seems to be their hairstyle and gender.

“Alright Ling, but they beat Zero.” Krok replied.

“Yes, I know...which is exactly why they’ll be taken care of now...” Ling said and sighed when he saw Naomi, “Even a demon couldn’t kill these guys huh? Hades must be losing his touch, or Hell’s just running out of good demons...I really expected more out of you seeing that you were sent by Hades himself, but alas that old goat must have underestimated Janie...”

Ling sat down and looked up at Krok, as if knowing what he would ask.

“Let Janie live and as for the others, don’t leave a single bone...” Ling said with a malicious grin.
