Unforgivable Sin

Following the map written on the scroll, the party arrived at a seemingly old laboratory. Although it looked like it was so old that could fall apart any moment, apparently it was only build a few months ago. At first, no one really cared about it, that is, until multiple deformed animals attacked the town. They ranged from four-legged creatures to winged scourges but all had one trait in common, their razor-sharp fangs. And each victim that the creatures attacked all suffered a severe amount of blood loss, but no one was killed from the attacks. Stranger thing is, each creature returned to the laboratory after attacking only one victim. So now the party had to find out who’s ordering these attacks and probably having to get rid of the perpetrator one way or another.

Upon entering the large double doors, a low growl could be heard and then the sound of multiple chains snapping. Three wolves ran out of three corridors, only that these wolves were disfigured. For one, they had frills on their neck like that of a kind of lizard, their tail looked more like that of a lion’s, and there were small sharp needles extending out of their body camouflaged by the thick fur.

“Wahhhhhhh!” Janie cried, “They’re scary!”

Ashe cringed slightly as the wolf bit down on her. But she shook it off, she didn't care if she died. She was begining to wind up weak. She was unable to deal much damage, and even worse, she was taking a lot of damage. She nodded her head angrily, knowing she would never forgive herself for this. Janie watched Ashe drop her weapon and she seemed to sulk. She had probably been thinking about what little help she had been in the past few fights.

Yet another mist appeared around Janie and entered Ashe’s head, and in moments forced a feeling of rage and bloodlust replaced all her thoughts except just one, survive.
