The Sound Enchanter, with a fresh defensive spell cast on her, stepped forward and unleashed the Harp Installment on her Universal Tone, shooting out six silver strings directly at the Shadow Peon. With a quick movement, she played the strings randomly, golden musical notes materializing once again and hitting her target multiple times while the soothing sound of a harp resounded through the battlefield. Hopefully, the calming aura would take over the creature...

Kit's ears twitched. He could hear the woman's heart-beat flutter wildly as her body struggle to cope with injuries of a magnitude most people never would, or wanted to, receive. That combined with the ragged wheezes of her breath and the whimpering sounds she made as Will tried to care for her anchored him back to reality. He had briefly lost himself to the beast, as he sniffed to corpse of the creature he had crushed.

His nostrils flared as he moved and the smell of blood wafted from the woman. Tentatively, he pushed his large head past Will's shoulder to get closer to the woman. He tried to make the actions look more like that of an overgrown kitten than that of a vicious man-eater, but he had no idea if it worked, not with the long cuspids that pocked from beneath his upper lip. Sniffing carefully at the woman's wounds, he caught traces of the shadow creatures miasma. A low growl rumbled from his throat. He was supposed to be protecting the woman, not allowing her to get brutally violated by the creatures. His head swiveled as he traced the scent of the last shadow creature. The source of the taint was easy enough to find. It was right beside what he was sure was the glowing boy. His scent had a curious cleansed and sacred like attribute to it that made him think of a church.

Muscles beneath his pelt coiled and his hind claws dug into the dirt as he leapt over the woman to crash, pounce was too tame a word, into the thing. A loud roar, quite different from the one he used to attack the other two creature earlier, bellowed from his throat. It was the kind of roar that made grown men want to crawl under their blankets with a teddy bear. A roar that made a lion's own seem like a kitten's yawn. Kit landed on the creature with fore claws stretched to their full length. The five inch long weapons pierced the thing's body,driven deep by his 700 pound mass, and it instantly went limb. Not enough. It had to suffer. Kit's maw gaped, revealing about 30 fangs glistening with saliva. The lower canines were about four and a half inches long, but the upper ones more resembled those of the fables sabre tooth, topping six inches. These Kit dug into the creatures body, tearing away a chuck of flesh, only to spit aside, not wanting to taint his mouth any more with the foul thing.

Alright guys, OOC once again. Kuori, you may join the next battle when I post it. Once again, congratulations everyone on successfully roleplaying. The extra given wasn't as much this time, but great job all the same. Now, everyone update their respective profiles!

The woman that had been attacked quickly got up and ran away as soon as the last shadow dissipated. "Hey, wait!" Will called after her, surprised by her reaction. But she was gone already, lost in the running mob of screaming people. Will stood there, perplexed, until the howling and yipping reminded him that there were still more to be dealt with. Glad that the others had followed, along with a new person, he nodded to himself and ran towards the closest sounds.

It seemed like a group of shadows were attacking something. Whatever it was wasn't moving, so they had to have been too late for the poor guy. The huge creature in the distance was slightly closer. We're probably gonna have to fight that, too, dammit.

Shakespeare starts in G-6.

Will tapped a couple controls, a bit more comfortable with the program that was still there. He heard some music playing back in his headphones, with a catchy melody. It wasn't something he'd heard or made before. Did you do that? He wondered at his laptop, almost expecting to receive an answer. It didn't, however, and continued to play the music in his headphones.

Kit starts at F2

Shockingly, Kit realized his first thoughts were to let the shadows be. They're predators. They legitimately earned their kill and have a right to it. Let them enjoy their spoils. He shook is head wildly to clear those alien thoughts from his mind. He grinned nervously. Something didn't feel right. That thought had a certain dark vehemence his normal mental thoughts lacked. He shrugged it off and focused on the battle.

Heaven starts at G7.

Again Heaven choose to be at Will's side, and a bit away from the imminent danger. Just the sigh of the corpse made her have goosebumps and tighten the grip on the humongous devise she had been carrying ever since the ballroom incident. But since they had managed to defeat the creatures before, it would be no problem, and so she decided to stay calm and cast her spells from wherever it was safe to.

Kazi starts at cell F-5

"Sorry for the late arrival." Kazi said as he caught up with the group.

Kazi walked to merely a few steps from some of these creatures and studied them, ready to draw his sakabato at any moment yet showing no signs threat to these things. These things, they were probably just wild beings following their natural instincts, like any kind of beast should. Although they were made of nothing but shadow and generally would seem like an 'evil' creature to most people, Kazi saw these things as nothing more than primitive beasts merely trying to survive.

Kit closed his eyes and slowly let out his breath. The transformation was faster this time. The black marking traced themselves across his skin and his claws shoot out. His body swelled and he fell to all fours as his form switched completely. He hung his head low, growling quietly as the voice in his head whispered soft to him.

Kit raised his head and roared. Leaves on the trees shivered from the fury, grass bent flat and bushes trembled as they shied away from him. He only needed one thing. Blood. And we will get it.

Kit uses Beast Within! All stats up 50%. Kit gains haste status.

Kazi sighed at the actions of his comrades, they seemed to be doing well. He probably wouldn't be needed, but a bit of help would get things done faster. Kazi drew his sakabato out of his sheath in a quick horizontal slash, then followed it with a powerful vertical strike.

Will let loose a blast of sound from his laptop, and the two shadows closest were hit, one affected more than the other. For once, the DJ smiled. He and these other guys seemed to be powerful. 'These skirmishes shouldn't be any problem.' he thought. A loud roar coming from the direction of the towering creature silenced his confidence however, and his smile disappeared.

Prey. Ours to hunt. Ours to attack. Ours to Slaughter.
Words not quite his own echoes in Kit's head. He drew a gusty breath into his mouth, the musty odors of the creatures filling his senses. One leap landed him beside his first target. He reared up and struck out with his forepaws twice. His claws meeting and ripping through soft, yeilding flesh.

Kit moves to E3! Kit attacks Kuro! Two hits! 15 dmg each!

Work the field to our advantage. Prove that we are the superior hunters. So them why they are but stains on our claws.
Another leap and he was but a silvery streak crashing down on another of the creatures. He ducked his head swiftly and a snapped fiercely at the foolish animal.

Kit moves to C3! Kit attacks Silhuo! Two hits! 15 dmg each!

Heaven moves to F6 (G7 - G6 - F6).

Heaven walked carefully so she wouldn't end up being noticed by the Shadow Peons, for the time being, at least, and readied her Universal Tone. Like the previous time, silver strings and golden notes soon followed the spell launched by such amazing artifact and hit one of the two enemies surrounding the massacred corpse.

Since she didn't want to wonder about while the blinding darkness rendered her vision useless for the time being, Heaven just stayed in place and, with impressive speed, the Sound Enchanter played a few randomly-selected notes of the Universal Tone. The distorting, spherical wave hit a Shadow Peon, wherever it was.

Heaven waits...

Kit heeded the voice. He could sense the shadow beasts clearly, even over the sounds of his companions attacks. He could taste their foul taint on the air. He padded over to the closest on. His muscles rippling beneath his silver pelt. Within a few moments, he was looming over the beast, jaws slightly open, saliva glisten on his fangs, his blank unseeing eyes staring at where he sensed the beast was. His pelt, with it's pale silver glow, was in stark contrast with the light devouring black of his prey. He lifted one paw high, claws splayed out to their full length, and smashed it down on the prey. He did it again. And again. And yet again, to ensure his target died.
