The Secret Stories of the Masquerade

Heaven moves to F10 (E9 - E10 - F10).

Seeing as the clocks were already being boarded by the people who rather decided to stay than cross the gap into the Nightworld, Heaven also shifted her attention at the tower. She went around it several times, not finding any visible door to her disappointment. Knocking on the hard surface, effortlessly trying to escalate the grey bricks, searching for a clue or evident anomaly with both her eyes and tact...Nothing.
"I wonder how she became trapped in this tower..." Heaven wondered aloud, still trying to find a way for the poor imprisoned girl inside to escape.

Kit moves to C7 (balcony)

Kit grinned at the guys misfortune and walked past him. "You must really have an issue with time, don't you?" he chuckled. It took skill to be beaten that badly by an inanimate object.

Kazi moves to cell E-6

Kazi stood up when two people gathered around the tower that one girl was in. They seemed to want to try to get her out of the tower, and even from a distane the towers looked pretty weak. Even with a dull-edged sword, Kazi could break it down fairly quickly.

"If you're trying to get her out, why don't we just break down one of the walls? That should be easy." Kazi suggested.

"Nope, no way out, but I wish I-"

And then she disappeared from the window, a few redish pink sparkles were left in her place. And suddenly she was down on the floor, the dim light barely making her figure visible. Rosa looked up at the tower and then at the balcony.

"I'm free!"

Kit moves to C11 (balcony)

Kit laughed out loud as the guy sliced the top off the clock. "If you treat all clocks like that, it's no wonder they had you." He still chuckled softly as he walked to the other clock and leaned against it for support. Idly, he wondered how that Masque guy would react to his clocks being assaulted. Tipping on his toes, he opened to the glass face of the clock and blew to dust out with a large puff.

Heaven waits...

Heaven couldn't say a word. Amazed by Rosa suddenly teleport out of the tower and in the ballroom, she snapped out of it a couple of seconds later, as she was staring blankly at her with awe. She then looked at the balcony, the two guys in there appeared to be heading for the final clock. The strange thing were the grandfather clock pieces that were "broken" in a particular way or another. What could it possibly mean?

Kazi moves to cell E-9

Kazi as about to run forward and try to break a hole in one of the walls when the girl just appeared out of the tower. It was strange, to say the least.

"Or you could just do that to get out." Kazi said with a suprised expression.

Kazi waits

The clock face had appeared normal, broken as it was, until a pale, ghostly hand thrust forth from it, pulling a long phantom-like creature along with it. It burst from the clock, swirling around Kit. It stopped in front of his face, groaning. "HOOWOOOOOO!!!"

It swooped down into the ballroom, causing all the dancers to scream and clear the middle of the dancefloor. Several others silently followed followed its example, materializing from the clocks and weaving in a circle. It seemed like they were avoiding the other phantom creature, while it groaned even louder and raised a gauntleted hand. The clawed gauntlet looked like it had been made from the insides of a clock, all metal and decorated with cogs. The others seemed to have these too, but weren't as ostentatious about having it.

Shakespeare starts in E - 8.

Will stumbled backwards when the phantoms suddenly invaded the dancefloor, his laptop sliding out on the floor as he went. He quickly gathered it up and opened it to make sure it was alright. It seemed to be fine . . . until the screen popped up a message.

Please put on headphones.

The sound mixer was mystified as to what it meant until he was aware of the weight of some headphones on his neck. Deciding to obey, he tugged them on snugly. Another program popped up on the screen. It had several functions: Record, Playback, Pitch Control, Fade . . . and something at the bottom entitled 'Initialize'. Will glanced back up at the phantom creatures twirling menacingly, their claws flashing in the moonlight, and shivered. The hairs on the back of his neck were standing up and his heart was pumping. Following a habit, he turned on a bit of music. Maybe something would make sense soon.

Heaven starts at E11.

Heaven swirled around and looked at the balcony as an ethereal voice lamented from the upper level, and gasped when the intangible figure swooped down at the ballroom. She backed away in a fear reflex as it rapidly cycled through the area, her MP3 Player clutched tightly in her left hand. As the first one stopped, four more appeared from various clocks and formed a hovering circle, a relatively spooky spectacle to watch.
What was she going to do in a situation like that?

Kit starts at F3

Kit jumped as the ghosts pushed their way from the clocks. "OK kid, maybe the clocks did have something against you." Kit swallowed nervously at the prospect of facing the creature. Sure, science claimed that ghost were often nothing more than tricks of the light and the effects of alpha waves, but in this situation, he was tempted to disbelieve. But could he fight them? Sure, the claws he wore were strong, but these were ghosts...

Kazi starts at cell F-7

Kazi studied these things that appeared out of the clocks and smiled, bowing to the others as if about to apologize. Ghosts couldn't be harmed by means of weaponry such as his sakabato.

"This One is afraid that he won't be much of help this time." Kazi said, "This One's sword cannot hit, much less cut, a spectral entity."

Tower Cells appear at E5, D6, F6, and E7!

The thrill was short-lived. Tower walls faded and reappeared around Rosa. She stamped her foot as she rose high into the tower once more. She looked around her, everything was the same. But the enemies on the field were not. Desperately watching out the window, she couldn't feel more helpless.

Kazi attacks Fantasmic. 6 ATK Dmg per hit, 2 hits

"Very well then, This One shall try." Kazi said.

Kazi noticed that the phantoms were not untouchable by his sword yet, and took this as an oppertunity to attack. The Rurouni swiftly swung his strange blade twice, altough it looked like he only swung once.

OoC: Huge Post, I know, but I NEEDED to explain how Heaven got her Universal Tone ^^.

Heaven was about to take a step back and retreat to the balcony area, where, hopefully, she would be able to stay away from the imminent danger that was drawing closer each second when she felt something in her left hand, supposedly where the girl's MP3 Player was. It was vibrating like crazy, making her hand tremble and transporting a rather uneasy feeling up to her whole arm. To her surprise, when she checked it, the screen was as black as a gleaming obsidian.

A screeching noise that echoed through the room made Heaven ignore the devise and center her attention to the others. The noise came from Will's laptop, which was behaving quite strangely, Rosa's stone tower was once again in sight, Kit in a fighting stance, Kazi and Rico with their respective blades drawn... To this point, the malfunctioning MP3 Player's vibrations were literally unbearable. She finally loosened her grip to the it, Heaven's eyes widening as it did not fall, and instead started to be enveloped in a white light and crazily rotate counter-clockwise.

Taking a few steps back, the girl watched as the outline of her cherished MP3 Player morph and elongate, suddenly expanding into a rectangular-shaped object that was about twice her height, one vertex of it being uniformly dragged until it formed a "spike". Suddenly, it stopped it's continuous frenzy. The white glow that enveloped it shattered like a mirror, the pieces flew through the room and dissipated in mid-air. What was in front of her no longer resembled the initial artifact. It was a mix of a magnificent piano, a golden pipe organ cycling the rectangular devise until it met a certain point of the object's back, where it entered its unknown depths. Heaven's vivid blue eyes glanced at the myriad of buttons that were there to record, tune and equalize the music that could produce such amazing artifact, the neon lights that blinked and faded fascinating her...

Heaven immediately grasped one of its sides, noticing it was lacking on width, and skillfully maneuvered with such confidence that even surprised her until it was in a guitar-like position. A Sound Enchanter was born.
"Universal...Tone." She read, the blue letters being in the top face of the now-named artifact.
Quickly deciding to act, the girl let loose a few random notes that resounded so clear through the circular stereo placed in the opposite end of the Universal Tone. To her surprise, one of the Watchclock Phantoms stopped and twisted its ethereal body in pain as a spherical, expanding wave of distortion grew from it and faded shortly after.

Kit darted behind the closest ghost, determined to hurt it. The others had launched their own a attacks, and Kit wasn't about to be left out of the fun. He tensed his fingers as he circled behind the ghost then struck out twice, slashing at the creatures back.

Finding herself with nothing to do, Rosa slumped the the floor. How was she supposed to be of help if she couldn't fight. At least she was out of trouble. Looking out the window she wondered if the others would be able to fare against the enemies.

As the others were already taking an offensive move against the Watchclock Phantoms, Heaven decided to attack from a safe distance, exactly where she was now. A few random notes were played again, and a expanding sphere of distortion grew from one of the stationary specters.
