Will moved forward, looking at the closest clock he could see. One of the outsiders cartwheeled past him, causing Will to stumble before he could hit the guy. "Oi, watch where you're going!" He shook his head and dusted off his pants, and checked his bag to make sure he'd put his laptop in it right. It was still settled safely.

Rico had mainly focused on the ground floor of the ballroom, but he had yet to venture up into the balcony. He could probably get a better look at things if he went. Thus, that was what he decided to do. With cautious steps, he ignored those who remained behind and proceeded towards the stairs.

Her main objective being the grandfather clock directly in front of her, Heaven looked around before advancing. Apparently, she wasn't the only one who wasn't doing what the rest of people were: Frantically crossing out of reality and into the Nightworld.

Kit quickly moves through the crowd of dancing people to the closest grandfather clock. The strange dancers and the costumed guest didn't even seem to notice him as he slipped past them. But, he got where he was going and eagerly started looking.

Kazi sheathed his sakabato and ran through the crowds, dashing past the people toward the three clocks in the back. He looked around and saw about five other people that still kept their sanity and composure after the recent events. Although they were more of less strange in appearance, Kazi shouldn't be the one to talk anyways.

Will smiled hesitantly at the girl beside him before moving closer to the clock, through the crowd of unerringly happy people. Looking at it closely, the cracked glass of the face of the clock gave it a kind of spooky look. Kind of like looking at a picture through broken glass, it looked distorted. Inside this clock, it's metronome had fallen over and was leaning on the wood inside. Will picked it up and looked at it, noticing that it looked more like a clean cut rather than it snapped off. Strange.

"Broken parts, how anti-climatic," Kit groaned. He picked up the pieces with a sigh, but did examine them. "Hello?" he blinked. "A bit neat for broken parts, aren't we?" He looked closer at the snapped pendulum of the clock. "Either grandpa time had a really sharp swing at twelve or someone tampered with this."

He looked at the other clocks in a new, curious light. Maybe they all were cut. "Only one way to make sure..."

Heaven moves to D6.

Unlike the others, Heaven had absolutely no hurry in her actions, for what she calmly continued to walk towards her initial target. Not like the few people that decided to investigate the clocks, who went literally running towards them. The search of one male individual turned out to be somewhat successful, as strange parts of the grandfather clock were extracted from it. What was peculiar was the fact it didn't seem like a normal "broken" situation.

What was everyone doing with the clocks? They seemed as weird as everyone else who was dancing around crazily. He continued up the staircase and made it to the balcony, only to become disgusted at the acts of those who had come to the party. Then again, he remembered that the invitation had mentioned something about losing oneself in the mayhem or something to that accord. It would just have to be tolerated as he continued to look around. He jumped slightly when he suddenly came face to face with another grandfather clock, which made him furious. "Why are those freaks wasting their time on these things?" he asked aloud to no one in particular. "What's so special about them?" He poked the clock face only to have it spring out at him and hit him right in the face. He clutched his nose in pain; it wasn't bleeding, fortunately for him.

Will moved on to the next closest clock, noticing others doing fairly much the same thing he was. So he wasn't only one curious about what the hell was going on. Maybe they were new too?

"Focus." He looked back at the clock. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary until he poked at the side, where a piece of its wood fell out. Now that was unusual. No splinters, not even a scratch. Completely clean, but the only way it could've fallen out is if it had been cleanly cut. It was like someone had taken a rectangular cookie cutter to it, except Wolverine-claw sharp.

What did special even mean? All he knew was that the freaks downstairs knew something about the clocks that he didn't. Despite his injury, he pursued his curiosity.

Will decided to to back off the rest of the clocks. He wasn't the only one checking stuff out, but he didn't know what their motive was for their investigations. At least they might figure something out before he did. So he moved away towards the stairs when he noticed, of all things, a tower just standing on the edge of the main dancefloor.

"What the hell? Where did that come from?" It looked there was someone standing in its window, so he called up to whoever it was. "Oi, you alright up there?"

As she was going to the balcony, Heaven noticed an imposing tower with a girl inside, which was obviously not there before. Suddenly hearing steps behind her, Heaven dodged just in time before the person bumped into her, skipping gracefully to the side. Nevertheless, she continued to watch the tower... The girl inside seemed to have absolutely no idea of what to do.
"Hello, I guess..." Heaven said to the person in her side, raising her open palm as a sign of greeting.

Rico moves to B5.

Rico suddenly felt a tapping upon his shoulder and his hand went straight to the dark hilt of his sword that his parents made him carry to complete his look. However, it was just one of the strangers from below who were also investigating clocks. "Uh...yeah, I suppose so," he said bewildered. How was he supposed to address this guy. "I'm not sure what's up with these clocks you guys have been looking at, but they seem pretty odd, I guess," he continued as he drew near another clock. This time, he drew his blade and poked the grandfather clock in the side from afar. He breathed a sigh of relief and put his blade back in position in his belt. That's when he heard a creaking noise and suddenly found himself staring at the clock as it got closer and closer until it hit him causing him to fall to the floor, stuck underneath the weight of the clock.

Kazi, seeing nothing else to do now, sat down with his back against the clock and whistled a random tune. He didn't know that there were other on the balcon, in fact he didn't even know there was a balcony, so Kazi just sat there, trying to find ways to pass the time.

Shakespeare moves to G - 9.

Will waved absently back at the girl who'd spoken to him. She was cute, but the tower in the room was dominating his attention. The girl inside had moved away from the window.

"Woah, hey! Isn't there a way to get down? Like climb the side of the wall or something?" He shielded his eyes as looked up the length of the stone tower. There wasn't any need, more a reflex. It seemed like it had gotten darker in the ballroom though. Maybe the chandeliers were dimmed or something.
