Marilyn starts at H7.

Upon realizing the place was empty, Marilyn knew something was wrong. Her keen senses could pick up that there was something around, even before the house became nothing but rubble and the monsters revealed themselves. Physically, she bowed to the enemies. "It is my duty to perform services for others, but don't get the wrong idea...," she began to say. It seemed like there was more she was going to say, but she never completed the thought. She just smiled disarmingly at the monsters in front of her.

Tea took out her crystal, her head cocked to the side. Why would these creatures attack? It didn't make much sense, but she wasn't complaining. If they were meant to fight, then so be it. Looking around at the other who had already taken position, she felt the need to say something.

"Be careful. No one would want anyone to get hurt."

"Ooooooo, scary," Michelle commented, grinning at the crocodiles and seagulls they had to face. They all seemed quite vicious. It was a good thing she was a long ranger or else she would have to go up close and personal to the creatures. She waved her arms at her frontline companions. "I'll just stay in the back and shoot down the seagulls! Good luck with the crocodiles! Try not to get bitten! Those jaws look like they'll hurt. A lot. That'll be bad. Be careful!"

Taking hold of her bow, Michelle prepared for her next action.

Naomi continued by switching hands and dealing a single-handed blade, then continued even further with seven more hits. The attacks didn't seem to do much, but there was still the chance of getting in a critical hit.

Just like in her last battle, the maid was no longer there. It seemed as though she had just disappeared out of nowhere. There was no doubt that questions would arise eventually as to where she kept going, but the point of the matter is that at least she always comes back...with blade in hand and ready to kill.

She wouldn't need to move for this. Michelle let out a giggle as she watched Marilyn disappear into thin air. It was like a circus act! Except without the effects and stuff. She really needed to ask the girl how she did that. But she held herself back, not wanting to draw any attention to herself. She would never be able to become a good hunter otherwise. Stifling another mad giggle, Michelle focused on a seagull, determined to deal as much damage as possible.

[Michelle] uses Concentration on [Swallow]. Next attack on Swallow will deal double damage.

Little Beni concentrated as her tome floated in front of her, her eyes glowing the same gold color as before. But this time, she pointed a finger in the air. "I summon thee, young draconian devil."

The same flash, well, flashed and a keening cry sounded from above. A dragon half Beni's size swooped down and hovered in front of her, snorting a small lick of flame from its nostrils. Benicia giggled as it growled at the closest creature. "I'll call you . . . Ritoru. Yeah!"

Naomi slashed away at the crocodile-man in front of her. She didn't quite like the attacks dealt to her, so she jumped away from them, hoping that distance would deter them from attacking her. Probably not though, the crocodiles looked rather vicious. They needed a magic-user to get rid of these annoying beasts.

Marilyn moves to H6.

Sneaking around would have to wait. The one they called Astra was in danger. She decided to move and stand between the woman and the crocodile man before becoming visible again and jamming her blade into the bottom of the thing's jaw. Her eyes were bestial and she snarled in delight as the blade went farther and farther in until the tip pierced through the tongue. At that point, Marilyn slid the thing out of the crocodile man and waited. It would have to be a visible battle from here on out.

Marilyn uses Lockjaw on Croc! 10 Dmg! [50% chance of Silence] [50% chance of Critical Hit] (ATK)

Michelle blinked as she dripped all over the ground. Looking down at herself, she was silent, as if in shock. A moment later, she raised ehr head and beamed.

"I LOVE water!" she gushed, practically jumping on her feet. "Oh my gosh, this is awesome! It's like it going to turn into a waterfight! Oh, I wish I was near the water. . . . Then I can splash you back!" She laughed at the crocodile that attacked her. "But I can't because we have to kill you all. No hard feelings okay, Mr. Crocodile?" Tapping the creature on the nose, she didn't bother to move as she aimed at the seagull high in the sky.

Without waiting for any prompting, Ritoru flew up towards the floating seagull, growling at it as he went. Once in range, it sucked in a breath and belched out a long tongue of orange fire, scorching the relatively small bird.

Ritoru uses Spurt of Flame [-6 MP] on Swallow! 6 Atk (Fire) damage, chance of Burn.

"Haha, that's cool!" Beni called from below, clapping her hands in delight and smiling like a kid at a fireworks show. "Isn't he neat?" She said to Tea, who was standing behind and to the right of Beni.

Astra casts Mercury's Light on Marilyn. 12 Int Healing DMG.

Astra acted quickly to restore Marilyn's wounds. It was the lease she could do for her, since Marilyn was diverting the crocodile-men's attention. Astra placed her hand on Marilyn's shoulder and surrounded the maid/assassin with a blue light, gently restoring her vitality.

The sailor that had appeared on the pier was waving to the group, shouting, "You finally came! We've been waiting! These blasted landlubbers 'ave been causing all sorts o' trouble! But we 'ave tings to deal with deir kind!" With that said, the sailor raised an enormous metal cannon that he had been lugging around. It looked far too high-tech for any ordinary blasting cannon, and it's presence was rather confusing. However, the sailor knew how to use it. He charged the cannon up and then shot a huge blast of electricity at one of the crocodiles, zapping them to kingdom come.

The Sailor fires an Electricity Cannon at Gator! 32 Int Lightning DMG! WEAKNESS!!

Gator PERFECT KILL!

Naomi quickly moved forward, grateful to finally see the presence of a sailor. It seemed as though he was hiding out on deck and, when he saw the group, grabbed his cannon and came out to help. Now they would able to finish the battle without worrying about allied deaths.

Marilyn was definitely grateful for Astra and the sailor who had appeared. The injuries she had sustained were pretty severe, but she was feeling fine now, so she thrust her blade into the gut of the crocodile man in front of her and ripped it out viciously.

". . . ." Michelle stared at the charred corpse of the crocodile, mouth gaping wide open. She seemed to be frozen in shock, bow hanging limply in her arms. She turned to the sailor, then at the corpse, then back at the sailor. Dropping her bow, she made some hand motions that alternated from pointing to the corpse and the sailor or wringing her hands, having no idea what to do.

Finally, she seemed to settle herself and stabbed her finger at the sailor.

"YOU!" she shouted, putting much emphasis the word. For a moment, she looked like a crazy person but that image was destroyed when she grinned so wide, it threatened to split her face in half. "That was freaking AWESOME. Holy-I mean-That is-WOW! Just. . . Just WOW." Michelle seemed at a complete loss of words. "Like, you have to do that again. It was just awesome. Just, so freaking awesome. It was like BAM. Dead."

Michelle giggled madly, the display of electrical discharge making her giddy, as she bent down to pick up her bow. She had a hard time concentrating on the seagulls but she was somehow able to focus long enough to do it. She giggled again.

[Michelle] uses Concentration on [Swallow]. Next attack will deal double damage on Swallow.

"Ow! That hurt, you meany!" Beni clutched the spot where the bird had sliced at her side, where it was bleeding now. Hearing a pained cry from Ritoru however, her eyes widened. "Ritoru!" He was in really bad shape.

Benicia casts Heal Summon [-8 MP] on Ritoru! Ritoru is healed for 4 HP!

Ritoru glared with his big, sky blue eyes. He wasn't about to let some feathery rat get the best of him, so he let loose another long burst of flame, fully intent on turning the bird's feathers black.

Ritoru uses Spurt of Flame [-6 MP] on Swallow! 6 Atk (Fire) damage, chance of Burn.

Astra raised her hand, pointing it towards the crocodile closest to her. Astra's bracelets began to glow, and she shot a blast of concentrated energy at Alli. For now, that was all she could manage.

Sailor waits.

The sailor was resting for the moment, fiddling with his giant lightning cannon. He needed to get it fixed, and quickly. The enemy was almost upon him, and it wouldn't be good if he ended up dying at the hands of the crocodile men. Nevertheless, he grinned up at the party, "Don' worry, I'll 'ave this ting recharged in a wee bit o' time."

Beni stared in shock as the little dragon took a direct hit from the nasty bird, and then screamed as she too was hit. "AAAAHH! Stay away from me, you big meany!" The ancient tome seemed to snap itself shut and then slammed into the bird, before following the summoner as she ran away.

"And soon the numbers will dwindle and disappear~!" Michelle sang, pulling back an arrow as she aimed. Closing one eye, her tongue stuck out of the corner of her mouth as she concentrated. "Crashing down they will come until there are none~~" She let the arrow fly and watched as it pierced through the seagull's heart. "And that's one down!"

[Michelle] attacks [Swallow]. 12 ATK DMG.

"Alright guys, we're doing great!" she cheered. "That's one less seagull to worry about, there's only three left! Hey, Mister! Can you do that zapping thing again? We'll have fried crocodile tonight! Oh, and barbequed seagull! We'll have to get out all of tbe feathers first though. But it'll be like a party! Or a bonfire! WOOT!" Michelle threw her arms in the air and waved them, grinning like an idiot.

Tea's eyes never left the crystal, more played out, she absorbed every second of it. The summoner was attacked by a devil bird, and her summon fell as well. And then a new image, the crocodile she had attacked earlier. Then a random dagger flew at the croc, hitting it dead on.

"Do be more careful with where you position yourself. Someone seems like throwing sharp objects today!"

Marilyn moves to G5.

Not wasting any time, Marilyn immediately changed her targets. She rushed at the next crocodile man and jammed her blade into its side before ripping it out and placing it back into her sleeve. The sailor with the lightning cannon was definitely an asset, but they still had to fight with great focus in order to efficiently eliminate the targets.

The sailor took the attack from the crocodile without so much as a grunt of pain. Instead, he hefted the electricity cannon to his shoulder again, aiming it at the crocodile in front of him. He also pointed it skyward a bit, noticing a seabird not too far away. Once it charged, the cannon fired yet another enormous blast of electricity through the crocodile in front of him, hitting the seagull as well. The sailor grinned as the croc fell.

Naomi moved forward after the seabird, raising her copper sword and immediately downing the bird, slashing through it's chest. Now both of the birds had been downed, and only one crocodile was left, on the verge of it's own death. However it seemed it wouldn't go down without a fight, as it took out the summoner.

"Fireworks!" Michelle shouted as the crocodile was obliterated by the lightning blast. She laughed, clapping her hands together excitedly. She didn't seem to care about being hit by the other crocodile's tail, too focused on watching the cannon do its work. "And the world goes BOOM!" She laughed again, a little harder this time, before calming down.

"Alright, there's only one more left!" she declared, punching a fist into the air. Naomi had just taken care of the last seagull so they didn't have to worry about that one anymore. "All troops, take aim! Aaaaaaaand FIRE!" With one smooth movement, Michelle had pulled back an arrow and let it loose, the arrow lodging itself into the crocodile's skin. "Time to bring it down guys! We don't want it to be hitting on any more people."
