"Perfect fit."Lucian said slipping his newly acquired robes on. "Strange though that a bat would want to defend these."he said continuing on his way through the water way. "It doesn't matter why now that these are mine but a guy has to wonder, seeing as they would go so far as to attack that slime that did nothing."Lucian said stopping as his ring regained it's glow. "Even stranger it usually takes longer for my energy to return if i'm not angered."Lucian said pointing his ring forward to illuminate his path. "I hope that I find the scum that caused those idiot peace keepers to enter the underground."Lucian said hurrying his pace as the blood trail got thicker.

It didn't take long for Lucian to move on deeper into the waterway, only to find trouble once more. Three slimes, exactly alike in every way dropped from the dank ceiling. Reforming immediately afterwards, they turned towards the mage with a strangely menacing look before moving back into the maze.

However, once again, there was an eerie feeling that these weren't the only problems in the waterway.
