Unforgivable Sin: The Seven Sinners

The first request led the group to a small pond which was once a magnificent lake, it had a report that many people had been dragged into the pond. A few of the ones that escaped had said the attackers were pale young women that looked like they were lifeless, also with a piece of paper with a strange inscription on it hanging over their face from their forehead.

Although when the group arrived at the pond, everything seemed normal. The water had nothing except a few bugs skipping about the surface, and Xue Langya merely picked up a rock to throw into the pond. When she threw it into the pond, the water stirred, maybe it was because Xue Langya had disturbed whatever was in water. Moments later three young women rose up from the pond, they all wore kimonos and a paper talisman on their forehead.

"Giant wolves, magic puddles, walking trees, diseased swords men and now swimming, hopping corpses," Jacob commented. "We appear to have rather... interesting luck when it comes to battles."
He drew his new bow with any further comments, testing it's string with a few light snaps. It would be a rather unique experience though, facing corpses. Life was, if noting else, filled with variety.

Jacob lightly twirled an arrow on the tills of his fingers before breathing out a lungful of mana. He waited a moment before taking another deep breath, drawing in the winds mana was well as his own.

Jacob uses Squallo[-14 MP][MP: 16]! Jacob is berserked! ATK raised to 30! Critical hit rate increased to 30%!

As the powerful energies filled his body, he carefully positioned himself to fire at the corpse. Rather than targeting the talisman, he let the wind guide his aim, counting on it to lead him to the critical hit. He sighed, setting his mind at peace before launching the barb.

As Wakuwo neared the edge of the lake, she frowned. The person was too far away for her to actually attack... And she didn't think it was a good idea to make it fall asleep when she couldn't reach it in the first place. So, she stood there, waiting patiently for the body to come closer.

Xue Langya grabbed the throat of the creature in front of her and with her other hand, rose Akaihime as it became enveloped in a green substance and struck down. A disease entered the wound from the strike and quickly spread throughout the body of the creature using its blood stream. Then Xue Langya jumped back a bit, hoping to lure the creature out of the water.

Ice was not something that was good for Jacob's health. He hastily retreated from the ice throwing corpse and targeted her again, not intending to leave her be. An abomination like her (no sane person could reason that a spell-casting-walking corpse was right) needed to be put to rest.

Jacob eyed the distance between himself and remaining corpse. It was too far the reach with his current bow and he would rather not waste his arrows. He edged a bit closer to the water and silently willed the corpse to move into his range.
